My best friend has been using Jordan Essentials Satin Shea Body Butter on her little boy since he was 9 months old. She started out with unscented, but now she has moved to the baby powder or Oatmeal Milk & Honey fragrances. He's 4 years old now. Has rare fareups, and when he does, they are gone again in a day or two with consistent use of the body butter. She is a nurse and also wanted to avoid steroids. She now recommends this to everyone with eczema.
My 11 year old son has eczema on his elbows and this is also what he uses, but since he's a "big" boy, he uses our men's Coastal Blue fragrance like his daddy. :)
I highly recommend it. It's also far less costly than prescriptions, and the whole family can use it. I've heard of other people trying to use the Walmart or Bath & Body Works brands and they don't work because they have too many other added ingredients that counteract the shea butter.
If you'd like to try it for a few days, just to see, I can send you a sample. Just e-mail me. I'm not pushing for a sale, I really KNOW this will help your little boy, as our company has hundreds of customers who use it specifically for their eczema.
Hope you'll give it a try.
