OK does ANYONE out there have the Animal Dyson or any of them might be the same. I am doing to the cleaner with mine and I am confused when I am sure it is very easy lol.. I know you sprinkle the cleaner on floor and let it set for 30 min BUT when I go to do the working in of the cleaner and I have the attachment on do I have vacuum on or not while working it in? I am thinking not since it would take it up I think i used the wrong attachment to. It does not tell me jack squat on Dyson.com so thought I would ask here. I will say it did GREAT in the bedroom and the smell is nice as well. I was impressed but want to do the living room right since it has more traffic in there then bedroom .lol Thanks

What can I do next?

I was in your shoes not too long ago ;) I sprinkled it on the carpet, rubbed it in with the smaller attachment that doesn't connect to the vacuum (does that make sense?), then waited 30 minutes or however long it took it to dry, then just vacuumed it up with the regular vacuum.

I have the animal (for about 5 years now) and love it, but I stopped using the cleaning products- I used the free ones but never purchased more b/c I wasn't that impressed with them. I remember being confused about the cleaner too- it's not just you;) I sprinkled in on the carpet and rubbed it in with the attachment NOT on (and then of course turned it on to vacuum it up). I still think steam cleaners do the best job for deep cleaning. The professional carpet cleaners have told me to never use any cleaning products (resolve, oxyclean, etc.) on your carpet b/c it leaves soap and just attracts more dirt- I totally believe this to be true. (I'm a bit of a carpet fanatic). I only use water or water with vinegar to clean stains. Good luck!

I don't have any experience with the Dyson, but I have used dry cleaner on my carpets (with out much success I'm afraid). Don't turn the vacuum on while you're working it in. I think the cleaner we bought had a type of brush with it that you used. You worked it into the carpet, let it sit for 30 mins, then vacuumed it up. I would imagine that most of the dry cleaners work the same.

Hi... Are you talking about that Zorb stuff? If I remember correctly I just ran the vacuum around turned off first to work it in. Then dry then vacuum up:) good luck!!!
