eMy boyfriends sister is pregnant and about to have a baby, only thing is she has notrecieved any prenantal care. I tried to talk tp her before when she was forst pregnant but she really didnt like me and thought that I was just out to steal my boyfriends money (inheritance). Now she is 9 months pregnant and she has no one in her life (her mom passed away when she was young grandparents died to ) so theres no one. She is calling me everyday for food and of course I take her all the food I can, and took her some clothes and nice things to fix her new apartment up....when it comes to going o the docter she changes the subject and I dont want to push her away so I dont pry on why she hasnt gone. She finally called me today and wanted to know about adoption. Thank God! But where do I start to find the right agency. What do I do if she goes into labor and whom and how do I get there? where? Please any help would be wonderful and encouraging as I am going to be more hurt saying goodbye tothe baby I feel.

What can I do next?

Hi P.,
My daughter was 22 when she announced she was pregnant. We turned to Preganancy Help Center
1311 Crenshaw Blvd, Torrance, CA ###-###-####.
I am not sure where you are located, but give them a call they may be able to refer you or give you guidance on adoption. They are free and the people were so helpful and kind at a very confusing time. KC is one of the ladies we worked with, but I am sure anyone there can help you. Good Luck, this is a very emotional time for everyone involved.

Hi, I am 29 years old. I was given up for adoption at birth and I had a very young birth mother. She went through Holy Family Services:

Holy Family Services Adoption & Foster Care
Santa Ana Pasadena
Carson, CA 90745

(800) 464-2367

I know they have several offices so she can just call the above number and they will get her help. As a child that was put up for adoption, let her know that we don't hold resentment towards our birth parents. We actually thank them for wanting the best for us.Please tell her good luck and if she has any questions she can contact me. ____@____.com

All my best,
J.J.

Try LDS Social Services. It is a Mormon Social Services group. They offer counseling and adoption services. There are A LOT of
families who would love to have a baby.

Hello P.,

I am not sure where to start with my response. First of all, your kindness and concern, I am sure have been a great blessing. Here is a link to a great agency with whom I am sure can answer all your questions.http://www.lapsforlife.org/
It is Los Angeles Pregnancy Services. They can help if you call them,###-###-####. I am sure you will get many responses to your request, but if the Spirit leads you, I do know of a wonderful couple who would love to adopt. He is a psychologist and she is a teacher, who would stay home with the child. Please feel free to contact me with more questions.

Hello P.: First of all you are wonderful for all the help you are offering your boyfriends sister. I am a parent of adopted children one who had no prenatal care. I suggest you call Adoption Network and they will help you in every way. From what to do to get prenatal care, if she goes into labor and the process of adoption. If she does decide on adoption she will make a couples dream come true as two amazing and selfless woman made me a Mommy. I will be thinking of you and this young pregnant woman. Good luck, Jen
