I always use rubbing alcohol to get stickers off of things. It neutralizes the glue so you can peel them off.
I would assume it would be safe for the TV screen since those electronic screen cleaners have alcohol in them.
Try dabbing a cotton ball with alcohol on it on the sticker to get it to come loose.

Contact the Geek Squad if you have a special screen. Otherwise turn off the tv and use good old fashioned water and wait, one drip at a time...been there, done that.

Is it an older old school model or newer? I ask because if it's an older model you could use Goo Gone. If it's a newer, though, I know that the screens are different and we use a special cleaner on ours. The oil in the Goo Gone may damage it.

I would say rubbing alcohol.

If it's an old TV (a console tube, whatever), just saturate the stickers (one at a time) with water...so it isn't running all over...and then scrape at it with a thin spatula or something like that. They will come off...might take a few swipes.

If you are left with a lot of gunk, you could use Goo Gone.

If it's an LCD, I really don't know what to suggest!

Didn't read all the answers but was told in elementary school to put peanut butter on the sticker residue and it will get it off. It did then, u could try that if its an older t.v. the wash it off.

I would be extremely careful about putting water and/or cleaning products on an LED or Plasma screen. They have special finishes. Here's a web site that talks about cleaning various types of screens.

I would call a TV service department and ask about how to get the stickers off if you have an LED or Plasma screen. If it's the old style of TV with a glass screen then you have a couple of choices depending on what type of stickers they are. If they're the type you lick then you can use plain water to soak them off. If they're gummy, self stick stickers you need to use an oily something. Butter will sometimes work. You have to work it under the sticker. Or use Goo Gone. I've used Lemon oil cleaner successfully.

The cleaner I have for my LED TV does not have alcohol in it.

egads, be very careful.. The new tv's screens are extremely delicate.

I had a client, accidentally spill something on her TV. it was snow globe. . it immediately looked like it melted the edge of the screen. Thank goodness, I and my employees, did not do this.. I noticed the damage it still is there..

This is a very fancy flat screen over 60 inches in her main living space.

Oh man. I loathe stickers! My son used to do that on the windows. For the windows I just soaked them with warm water. For a TV, it depends on whether it's flat, plasma, or just glass. I would call the tv company to see what you can use. Sometimes you can use rubbing alcohol or the cleaner that you use for that specific T.v.

Good luck!
