I recently moved to Arlington and with the help from all of you have found all my doctors. Now I need a good hair stylist that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I live in south Arlington and need a color and perm. Help me Moms!

What can I do next?

Try Shelton's Hair Salon. I have gone to both the salon in Fort Worth and Arlington when my stylist was there. She decided to move back to the Fort Worth Salon because she had so many customers there. According to my friends, their prices are very good and they do a good job. Their school is across the parking lot so they have some good stylists.

I have a stylist at Trade Secret in the Parks Mall. She's done great for me and she just did my hair for my wedding. Her name is Amber and the phone # for the salon is ###-###-####. I don't think they're expensive so maybe you should give it a shot!

I used to go to Big expensive salons but my partner suggested this new place Supercuts that opened by the new Target.
I wanted a BIG change and a hair stylist named Hannah was AMAZING. They are cheap , extremely nice, and very good at what they do.

W.,

I go to the Legacy Salon on South Cooper by the Parks Mall (in the Toys R Us parking lot). I'm not sure of the address, but with kids I'm sure you know where the Toys R Us is. The lady that does my hair is a great sylist and does my color too. She listens to what you want and delivers a great color and style for a GREAT price. I had my hair colored, highlighted cut and styled and it was only $45.00. I think thats a great price because I have long hair. Here is her phone number ###-###-#### and if you want you can drop my name and she will probably give you a really great price. Her name is Jessica and she has been cutting my hair for about 2 years now. Good luck!

I'm not sure which one, but either Great Clips or Fantastic Sams does perms. About coloring your hair, do you get highlights or a single process color all over? I used to get highlights, but stopped recently since I have so many grays and now need a single process on my roots. I just started coloring it on my own, and it's not difficult at all (neither is it a pain). My "100% gray coverage" hair color by Revlon costs a whopping 3 bucks at Target!

I go to Fantastic Sam's on Debbie Lane and Matlock, in the Kroger shopping Center. The stylists there have been there for a good long time and they are very peronable with clients. There was a 10 percent off color coupon in the mail the other day.

I use a lady named S.. She has her own studio next to her home. She does live kinda out in the "country", though but it only takes me about 15 min. to get there from where I live off of Matlock and Debbie. She highlights, cuts, washes, dries, and styles my hair for about $55. I don't think that is bad. I have used her for about 3 years now and I really like her. What I also love about her is that I can bring my 2 yr. old with me when I need to and she is totally cool with that. She has kids of her own and my son is usually kept intertained by her kids while we are there. She has also cut my son's hair before and she is very good with him. Let me know if you want her phone number and I will get it for you. Good Luck!

I love my stylist and have been going to her for years! Her name is Lien and she is at I-20 and Green Oaks in the Big Lots shopping center. Her number is listed under Beauty Market. I think you would be pleased with her expertise and price. I have paid twice as much and not gotten the service that I get with her.
