You aren't technically supposed to wash them but you can put it in the washer on the delicate cycle with COLD water and then let it air dry and you should be ok.
My daughter threw up ALL OVER her car seat last night as we were sitting in a traffic jam leaving Kaboomtown...Fun. We have a briatax and the manual says to wipe clean with a cloth, not to machine wash. I tried the wiping clean last night and it really didn't do any good. I really think it's going to have to go into the machine. Has anyone ever washed one of these?

I have washed it, IMOF i need to wash it again.
I just machine washed it on the gentle cycle and line dried it. It looked brand spankin new!
I wash mine all the time on the gentle cycle and let it air dry. I have two kids both under the age of 4 and I have washed all four of their Britax Marathon car seats with out a problem. I recommend it! I also wash the straps in the same cycle and have never had a problem(we have had our fair share of the same sort of accidents:)). Good luck.
Yes, my son has the Britax car seat with the denium cover and I have washed it in the machine several times. Good Luck!
I have to wash my Britax carseat cover about once a week. I have washed it MANY times and it is perfectly fine! I also dry it in the dryer and it still looks brand new!
We've washed our several times. We wash it on gentle and hange to dry or put it in the dryer on air only (and sometimes on extra low). It's been fine everytime. :)

I have. Wash in cold water on gentle cycle and hang dry it. My Britax cover turned out just fine after washing!
Good Luck

Our 3 year old had an accident in her Britax and my husband washed it on cold and let it air dry. We haven't had any problems with it.
I have 2 britax marathons. One from 2003 and one from 2007. I have washed both covers in the washing machine. I air dry them. The straps however have to be washed by hand. I unhook them as much as possible, with the cover off and the pad out & use a new sponge, dish soap and water and rub, rub, rub. Then i do it with just water, then I dry the same way with a clean towel. I let the straps and cover finish by air drying.
Oh, many times! Just don't dry it. I love it when it smells nice and clean! Kind of a pain to redo the straps but well worth it. Good luck!
We just had the same thing happen and I hand washed ours in the bath tub with cold water. Hung to dry. It turned out fine.
