I had this same combination problem about a year ago. I do not have insurance adn also prefer to treat things naturally anyway if at all possible. Here is how I treated and sucessfully got rid of my issues in just a few days. *BTW apple cider vinegar will be helpful for the yeast infection sure! You can also take a shot of it orally to boost imunity. I would use organic from Sprouts or Whole foods.
Yeast infection: Take odorless garlic gel caps orally and at night before bed insert one vaginally as you would a supository. This will knock out the infection super quick and offer relief! You should wear a panty liner because some of the oil will leak out. Also avoid processed carbs adn sugar. This will delay healing and will just feed the yeast.
*the garlic taken orally will also boost the immune system and assist in getting rid of the UTI as well.
UTI: instead of drinking cranberry juice take cranberry tablets. This offers the same benefits but does not contain sugar. The sugar will just make your yeast problem worse. Make sure you drink plenty of water. At least 8 glasses a day. Instead of antibiotics you can take colloidal silver hydrodsol (30 ppm). I took 1/2-1 tsp daily. This is antibacterial and antiviral. It can be found at a health food store.
Hope that is helpful information for you. Please contact me if you want more details or want to know where I got my information on this. It worked for me though!
ps if you are trying to get pregnant the TRYING can be the culprit. Make sure your partner is clean and make sure you clean up afterwards. The extra moisture can cause problems. Try to make sure you are dry before you go to bed after. I always got these problems when we were "trying" all the time if I wasn't careful. I would also wait until the infection is cleared up before trying.
Cider vinegar can do wonders for neutralizing the PH level in your "southern" area. (your ph level being off is what leads to yeast infection)
If it is a UTI, then cranberry is really the way to go. You can even get the concentrated cranberry tablets from the drugstore or grocery store, they are natural and work 10 times better than the juice alone.
That is a home remedy for yeast infection but not a UTI. They are very different. If you have a UTI you need to drink tons of water and cranberry juice. As you have been told before if this does not clear up get to a doctor or health department, before it turns into a serious condition.
If you have a yeast infection the apple cider vinegar can do wonders in your bath! I have used it before and it worked wonders. You can also get over the counter treatments like Monastat if you need to. Now if it is a UTI it might help some but I doubt it will totally clear it up, definitely drink cranberry juice! I have had many UTI's and they can quickly move to your kidneys and it is so painful. I am very prone to these cause I have several kidney stones alot and cranberry juice and drinking alot of water have helped these, but if they get bad you will need medication. Hope this helps! :)
I haven't read the other posts.
I've heard of the apple cider vinager for a yeast infection, but I don't know if it works or not. I don't think there would be any harm in trying. There are several over the counter medications (previously only availabe by perscription) that will clear up a yeast infection.
If you have a UTI you can try drinking tons of water (like 2 gallons a day) to flush out your system. However, these usually won't go away without antibiotics. You should make an appt. with your doctor. An untreated UTI can cause lots of problems.
You really should
The symptoms of UTI and yeast infection are quite different. If you have a UTI you will feel like you have to pee a lot, but not much pee will come out.
A yeast infection is itchy and there is a white discharge.
If you have a UTI you need antibiotics.
if you have a yeast infection you should just put out the money for over-the-counter yeast medicine at your local drug store. It's expensive, about $15 last time I looked, but it works quickly.
If it is a UTI you will know it is very painful to pee...and you feel like you have to pee super bad but you only go a lttle. You have to have antibodics for that. A yeast infection is ichy with white chunky discharge...over the counter cream...however it could be a bacteria infection...which is like a yeast but the discharge is more yellowish green...and you MUST have antibiotics for that. Go to the doc they will be able to tell you what it is and how to cure it. There is also a little pill they can give you for a yeas infection you take by mouth and works almost instantly. I recommend going to the doc. Good luck!
don't know much about yeast infections, but for the UTI I would high suggest that you go to the doctor and get a round of antibiotics. I really do not like taking antibiotics and I really do try to stay away from such things, but from personal experience I think I fought the same UTI for quite some times (thinking in the line of months) using the cranberry juice and a little baking soda in a drink and any other home remedy.. but I noticed that I just kept getting UTIs over and over again.. it was awful.. I finally broke down and went to the doctor and got a perscription for an antibiotic and I have not had any issues since then.. it cleared it up completely so I wasn't fighting the same bacteria over and over again.. really I know it's expensive to go to the doctor but it's a very good thing... You really don't want that spreading to your kidneys..
In your last post you said you dont have insurance, but you may have to go anyway if you go to a rapid remedie or like a emergency clinc you can just make payments to them.
The uti needs to be treated by a doctor. They can quickly become worse and affect your kidneys. The yeast infection can be treated by over the counter meds from the drug store. Good luck!
I have been told to use plain yogurt. Not vanilla but plain.
I was so desperate I actually tried it for a yeast infection and it worked! It was messy and cold and gross but I felt better and didnt spend a lot of money.
Not sure about the apple cider vinager though.

Well, it couldn't hurt.
If you have a UTI, you really might want to go to the doctor. While UTIs can be fairly innocuous, they can spread to the kidneys if not treated properly. While I'm not a big fan of abx in general, this might be a time when it would be helpful IF treating what you think is a yeast infection doesn't work. For me, the big difference between the yeast infection and a UTI is an extreme sense of urgency and almost a burning when I need to pee - also more frequent peeing than is even normal for me. Also, you can actually have both at the same time - fungi and bacteria provide a wonderful synergistic environment for one another.
I think you posted yesterday that you are trying to get pregnant?? Go see a dr!!
