I convinced my ex to do it instead of me. Thank you Lord! We ended up divorcing, he married a woman with no kids who is 10 years younger than me and now they can't have kids since they don't have the money to pay to have it reversed! YAHOO!!! He can't pay for his 2 kids he has now so I'm soooo glad he can't have any more!

Had my tubes tied when I was 30, after the third kid. Yes, I regret it very deeply. I could go on and on but probably everyone's tired of hearing me whine about my own stupid decision!

We are in the process of having the reversal done...we have been for our consultation but haven't scheduled the appointment just yet. Trying to plan a "good" time for hubby to take off for recovery!

Yep.

I also know another kiddo is not a realistic move though...And I am REALLY GOOD AT GETTING PREGNANT.

Four would have been WAY to many. I miss the baby stages...But I think I have made peace with letting go of them.

I will have my Best Friend and sisters to live through. I am an amazing Aunt. Too toot my own horn.

I think knowing anything is coming to an end is hard. I had to remember with every closing of a door another will open. Maybe not right away but eventually.

There will always be the Grandma Stage....I cant wait for that.

Hubby had his done about 3 years ago. Every time our kids fight, yell, and hit each just makes us glad that we did it.

Yes, too depressed and tired of this saga in my life to even write about it. So I will say this - I had my tubes tied after the birth of my second child, at age (almost) 33... wayyyy too young. It was my choice, not recommended. Check my profile to see the questions I have asked about IVF... to make a long story short, we both regretted it, went on to try two fresh IVF cycles and two frozen, and have nothing to show for it but debt. There is nothing I regret more than the decision to have the tubal.

I will say that three kids for us would have been a financial stretch, as well as dealing with a small house, two full-time jobs, etc., but to not even have the option to have another without paying thousands of dollars just for the chance will haunt me forever. :-(

I just had my tubes tied seven weeks ago with the birth of our third baby. As of yet I do not regret it. But, we had discussed prior to becoming pregnant that three would be our limit. My husband was satisfied with only two and wanted to go get a vasectomy. I begged and pleaded for a third, and we were blessed with a healthy baby girl. I would love more, but we can't afford any other children and my husband only wanted two. So, it was the perfect decision for us.

Not at all. Other than marrying my husband and having my two sons, having my tubes tied was the best thing I ever did for myself. No more pills, no more babies, no more worries about becoming a birth control statistic. FREEDOM!

My husband got a vasectomy when my daughter was about 5 years old (he was about 38 years old at the time). It's the best thing we ever did. We knew we didn't want any more children so it was the right decision for us. The only thing we hesitated about was IF something should happen to me and maybe he married someone younger and they wanted children together - a very long shot, but we did discuss it at length. We finally decided it was a bit far fetched to worry about and went ahead with it. We've never regretted our decision and have FREEDOM of not getting pregnant - woo-hoo!
