Hi!
My husband and I do not have medical/health insurance. I was wondering has anyone used Maternity Advantage/Maternity Card? Does this work?
Thanks,
S.

Not sure of your income, but the state provides insurance for kids under the All Kids plan and also has family insurance and insurance for the expecting mom, but you have to qualify in regards to income limits. Our girls are covered by All Kids, but we pay a premium each month so we don't qualify for the other insurance programs. The All Kids website is www.allkidscovered.com. You can find a number on there to call and ask questions. Good luck! I know insurance can be expensive and a hassle to figure out.
Hi, I'm not sure about Maternity Advantage but my husband just started his own insurance business with Farmers Insurance in Naperville. You should contact him, he has been able to save all of our family members money so far. Matt Kruse at ____@____.com. Thanks! S. Kruse
No, I was also researching the insurance situation so if anyone has more news about it I am looking forward to seeing it. I know we need to take care of this, too.
depending on your income level state of illinois offers medical cards to all pregnant females, you may be on a spend down(like a dedectable), but this covers prenatal and birth of child, which if it runs well, the cost of birth is not too bad, if not then cost can run well high. Mine in Dec was 38,000.00. Also has coverage called ALL kids. Please call your local health department.
