I've been seeing an Otolaryngologist since 1978 or so. Southdale Otolaryngology, the Dr I see is Dr Rosenberg. I see him for the ear. I have a tube in my right ear for drainage, the eustracion tube is closed from a car accident...usually kids eustracion tube is not fully developed, they grow out of the need for ear tubes.

Hi. My 4 year old daughter just had outpatient surgery with Dr. Manlove at the Regina Hospital in Hastings. We had an appointment with him first regarding her breathing and hearing. He is very nice and excellent manner with the children. He is very much direct and to the point with parents. He seems confident with his knowledge borderline cocky yet was not condescending or rude. I felt very secure knowing he knew that surgery was the right choice for my daughter. She had her tonsils and aednoids removed and tubes placed in her ears. Her breathing improved immeadiately as well as her hearing due to so much wax build up that wasn't able to pass through the canal. The staff at the outpatient center was great, and the Dr. visitied with us after the procedure to give us an update. I will be bringing my other daughter to see him as well.

Hi Colleen,

I know that the local site twincities.babyzone.com has pediatricians listed, but am not sure if it goes so in depth to list E/N/T specialists...I guess it's a start though.

Best of luck - A.

I saw Dr. Manlove a couple of years ago, and I would not recommend him to anyone. I was referred to him by Apple Valley Medical Clinic (another place I would never go again, but for different reasons) when my doctor thought I had a sinus infection, but the antibiotics he prescribed did not clear up the issue. Dr. Manlove had a CT scan done, and after we got it back, his diagnosis was that I had a sinus infection, and he prescribed some more antibiotics! I told him that the previous doctor said the same thing, and that the antibiotics didn't help, so could we do a culture to make sure this "sinus infection" is bacterial. Then he said, well, it's probably not a sinus infection, and it was nothing to worry about. So, Dr. Manlove has absolutely no credibility in my book. Don't take your child there!

I have had good experience with a dr Liston in st paul. He is an ears nose 7 throst specialist over by United hospital. I have had appointments with him. He did surgery on my son & twice on my daughter. He is very good. He is straight to the point at telling you what the problem is. I would recommend him anyday. He has been in the field for a long time. He is not listed under peditric, but he is good with kids. I have not had a bad experience with him.
