Has Anyone Ever Used the "No!No!" Hair Removal Device?

So I was up late last night, wanting to watch some TV, and on came this infomercial for a new product called the "No!No!". It's a device that supposedly is pain free and leaves you hair free ("NO! Hair NO! Pain, No!No!" is their slogan). Normally, I would switch channels but this grabbed my attention. Men can even use it on the back of their neck for hair removal or on their chest, so it is unisex even though it is pink. The device is supposed to burn the hair follicle and crystallize it so it is sort of like a laser removal treatment minus the pain and expensive, repetitive sessions. After using the device, you have to use a buffing pad on your skin and a lotion with a product called "capislow" , which clinical trials claim to reduce hair growth, permanently. If hair grows back, it is thinner and lighter, the creator claims. The device is about $250, and while looking through Google, many say it is awesome, while a person or two claims they had serious burns, but then they chalked it up to a possibly defective device. Others say it is too time-consuming although I don't see how it is any worse than a razor. They had actresses from "All My Children" and "Days of Our Lives" talking on the commercial about how great it is, and they even had a gentleman and some women demonstrating it live so they could show us how easy, fast, and pain-free this device is. Summer is coming up and I cannot use a razor on my bikini line because I get serious razor burn and nicks, and the hair removal creams sometimes do not remove all the hairs and you're left with wiry-looking tiny hairs where the stubborn hair refused to fall out. Has anyone used this or knows anyone who has used this? Is it a gimmick or does it really work? Is it really painless and does it really reduce the amount of hair growth permanently? They have a 60 day money back guarantee promise on their site for trying it but every product offers something similar so this isn't enough to convince me. I am not sure if you get this guarantee if you buy it off of Amazon or Sephora though, which also sell the device. I look forward to hearing your opinions, stories and reviews on this (magical perhaps?) gadget!

To answer Page's question: The creator's name is Dolev Rafaeli, an Israeli man (not sure if he is a doctor, or dermatologist?), and the company that represents No!No! is Radiancy.

So What Happened?

Thanks all for your opinions (and experiences) on the subject. I think I will just stick to the razor for the underarms and legs, it only takes 10 minutes, once a week, and this gadget is rather pricey and apparently, time-consuming. I was able to find a Laser Hair Removal deal on LivingSocial.com, 6 treatments for $99, so hopefully, that will take care of my bikini line issue. I hope it's not too painful and that it really is as effective as they promise!

I have used it and it can be a little tricky to master in the beginning. It is ok on legs and arms but it is very tricky around the bikini line. I tried it but ended up watching Groupon and getting a great deal on bikini line hair laser hair removal. Check them out they are in cities all around the country.

All of these things offer a money back guarantee, but in my opinion, if you're going to spend the money, spend it and consider it gone.
They are banking on the fact that it's too much trouble for most people to go through the hassle of returning something.
And, how can you know within 60 days if the hair removal is "permanent"?
You can't.

Hopefully someone has used it and can give you some product specific advice. I tend to be on the skeptical side when it comes to products on infomercials.

Just the name turns me off. Who came up with No No?

It's looks dumb. It seems way more tedious and time-consuming than shaving. I'm gonna guess it's a gimmick. I've had some experience with electrolysis, and I'm pretty sure that thing isn't going to have the same results.

I have no idea about the product, but wanted to add that if you do buy it through sephora they will absolutely take it back. If you have your receipt, I think it is at least 60 days. After that it might be store credit.

I got it thru HSN & while it definitely works, let me expand on that a little... You use it in the place of a razor as there are blades, & part of the use of it includes actually shaving the hair as the little conductive wires(?) come in contact with the hair & are supposed to neutralize the follicle over time. "Over time" is the key here. You have to of course have hair available to shave each time you use it, and it takes much longer to go over & over each section of (oh let's say 'leg') than you would with a razor (instead of 5 minutes in the shower, plan for a good 20-30 minutes at least, I think - of course, this probably depends on your hair). There is a slight odor of burning hair (nothing nauseating), but no burning sensation at all. You would use it rather than a razor every time you need to shave, but with regular use the hair definitely takes longer to grow & seems to come in finer each time. Instead of shaving every day or every other day during the summer, you might get down to once a week or so. HOWEVER, if you stop using it at some point & use your razor instead for the sake of convenience, hair growth eventually returns to what it always was. If you're able to invest the time to use the NoNo each time instead of shaving, you will like it.
