This is quite normal and usually happens when you are ovulating , and what is supposed to happen is it get's thicker when you are at prime conception time. A way of tracking when to get pregnant without the use of ovulation kits. If you have regular periods then you will notice that every month around 10-12 days after your period you get this discharge and then over the next 2-3 days it get's thicker and this is when you should be able to conceive. Some women (myself included) get some discomfort/cramping in the ovaries when I ovulate.
