I am having a hard time picking a hospital and doctor in the Fort Worth area. I was not considering HEB at first but I toured it this weekend and it seemed very nice. I would like to know if it is a good labor and delivery hospital and if anyone has had a great experience there? It seems like it is taking me forever to pick a doctor and hospital but they are each different from the other... and I just don't know how to choose. Thanks for your help!
Me and my family have all delivered at heb, it is sooo wonderful there, i have to children there, very cozy, and comforting, no complications.
I gave birth to our 2 year old at HEB. I only have one child, so I don't have much to compare it to. But while I was pregnant, I did go into false labor and the doctor took me to another hospital which in hindsight makes me so glad I had her at HEB. I have nothing but GREAT things to say about the staff and the facility. She was born six weeks early so had to be in the NeoNatal Intensive Care Unit for a week and this hospital has one of the best in the south, only surpassed by Cooks. I know this is where I will want to have our next child - it was a great experience and I know they played a big role in that.
I have heard nothing but great things about Harris HEB, my doctor is pregnant with her first and that is where she is delivering so that gives me some idea that it's pretty good. I delivered my third child at Harris FTW and I didn't like it at all! I have delivered in 3 diff. hospitals, due to college and moving and Harris FTW was by far the worst experience of the three. I hope you find the perfect place for your special delivery!
I delivered at Harris HEB and really liked it. It was the only women's group that i liked in the area. My Dr was DR B Webster, but all 4 of the lady doctors were great. www.thewomensgroup.com
I delivered all natural and everyone was supportive, and that is hard to find.
One of the nurses were kind of weird, but everyone else was great!
I had both my babies at Harris HEB and all the nurses were great. Especially the nursery nurses, they were wonderful. They were extremely helpful when I had my first one, since I really had no idea what to expect. I believe the nurses went above and beyond, to help and answer any question. Like someone stated before they have a good lactation program, while your there and after you leave if you need it.
I recommend having your baby there.
LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!! I had both of my children there and both times the nurses were GREAT! They really take care of the mother and the child. Compared to other hospitals, HEB's suites are HUGE and VERY nice. And they have a great Lactation program if you are going to breastfeed. And the Lacation program goes beyond while you are in the hosptial. I went to Drs. Cipriano, Spurdeon and Preston. They are located right across from the hospital. They are great!! Good luck!
I did at the Harris Dowtown FTW. It was a very nice hospital and my daughter was born premature and had to stay there for 4 months. They were very caring there. I had to stay 5 days b-4 the birth and 5 after and the nurses and docs were wonderful there. I really think you should check this one too. Congrats on your soon to be new addition.
