I am thankful for wonderful friends, a great family, and that everyone is healthy!

I too am thankful for the members on this board. I learn the most when we are all not agreeing...it leads to more creative solutions. I appreciate "the regulars", not a person, but that there is always a voice available....no one is left hanging. Someone cares enough to answer, but it's not really about the answer but the fact that someone took the time to say 'I care and want you to know you are not alone'.

I have learned so much from all of you...keep it coming!

I'm preparing a Thanksgiving dinner for my daughter, dad and daughters friends. It's a very emotional day without my man but I know he is with us in spirit!

This is the first Thanksgiving dinner I've made without him. Last year we were both sick and stayed in bed with soup.

I'm thankful for getting through this year with my head still up, our health and my daughter fur being my rock and inspiration to never give up when I really want to sometimes.

I am thankful to all of my MMP friends who have walked with me and supported me. You are the best!!!

I'm most thankful this year for therapy! My parents fought bitterly for over 30 years, and as children my brother and I were taught to suppress our feelings. We all survived, but there was a dismal legacy of emotional dysfunction. Therapy has helped everyone in our family, and I"m glad there is no long a stigma to seeking help.

Thankful for my relatives (even the nutty ones), for my husband, for our kids (who were very cooperative and fun today), for the friends and their family who invited us to join them for a nice T-day meal, for a comfortable house, for health, for the job I like, and for our other blessings. And I'm thankful for the question :). It's alway a good exercise, gratitude.

I'm thankful that I'm not homeless and that I don't have a house payment. BUT I'm not thankful I need a new roof and that this one is leaking to the point I'm getting mold inside.

I'm thankful I have reliable transportation when so many are dependent on others to take them everywhere.

I'm thankful I have my family and even though I'm alone today that they're thinking of me.

Very true about this board - all just what's best for our kids and families - and this site has helped me keep things in perspective. Great moms on here that I have learned much from.

I'm very thankful for my husband and kids, family and friends. We've been blessed this year to have gotten to know some very wonderful people - true friends. The kind that let you know they will be there if you need them. Fantastic.

Feeling very blessed lately. Had a wonderful visit with my family not long ago. My mom's not so well any more, and we not only made light of it, but we just were our usual silly selves, laughing till we cried. We needed it. It was wonderful!

I'm thankful anytime I can get a 4 day weekend!
And I love my Mamapedia friends.
Enjoy the food, friends and family - and try not to eat the whole feast in one sitting.
Our house loves the leftovers just as much if not more.

I'm thankful my family is happy and healthy.

I'm thankful for the cat I finally got 2 weeks ago :). It's nice to have a pet again.

I'm thankful for facebook because it keeps me connected to friends and family.

I'm thankful for the advice I've gotten from everyone on this board.

I am thankful for my job. I am thankful for my good friend. I am thankful for a car that runs (knock on wood). I am thankful for Wellbutrin (seriously). I am thankful for clean air, beautiful trees, and rain. (cheezy!!!)

Thankful for family and friends and thankful for everyone here!!

And - for "the elephant in the room" these days - to put a "Thanksgiving twist" on any political thoughts, I am thankful for the mama somewhere in the USA who is, as I type this, raising the future President of our country. He or She may be having a tantrum face down on the kitchen floor right now ("Hail to the Chief!!"), but, that child's mother/father is putting effort into raising the person who will steer our great country through some period of time in the future. And there is a fair chance of that mama asking a question here on this site. So, I am thankful for everyone who helps her!!

(And to be clear, I am also thankful for all of the mamas who are raising every single other "future nice adult" who will shape our world in the years to come!!!!)

Just back from a wonderful Thanksgiving with my husband and children. So very grateful that we were all able to get together and enjoy one another.

Everyday I am grateful for God and my parish, my family and friends, my health, any time I can be helpful to others, and nature's gifts, expecially being in the ocean.
