murphy's Oil soap works like a charm! I have tried alcohol and other things that did not work. I went and got Murphy's, not only did it work, but it was fast and easy! I used hot water and only used a 1/2 gallon of water !

Murphy's Oil Soap--they used to have a TV jingle "the dirt is finished, but the finish is fine". It is a 100 year old company. The back of my bottle says Member of The National Wood Flooring Association. They have a few different products, with one specifically for floors.

I will bet you just some warm water, dawn dish soap , let it soak a minute, and some elbow grease! Dry it immediately after.

Probably any cleaner, water and elbow grease. I spray the heck out of my hair, and sometimes get hairspray build-up on my nails (I block my face with one hand). I always use the same brand, but I assume most/all hairspray is water-soluble.
