im new,and went to a salon to get my hair highlighted an low lights and it is so blonde, i am very unhappy with it, I did not want it that blonde almost white, I just picked a random salon and it was a big mistake, Does anyone know where i can go to someone who knows about coloring?

James at Canyon Ranch Salon, The Venetian, is the best colorist in town. Don't let the location spook you because his prices are not really too bad.

I just started going to a new salon, Salon Cheavaux (not sure on the spelling, sorry) in Henderson, 89014. The stylist is Amber. I am extremely particular about my thick hair and have spent up to $160 on cut/color in the past. She is great, and does a fab job with color. She charges me $105 for cut and partial weave that consits of bleach highlighs and lowlights. I would also recommend Michael Brenkus at Kaya Beauty. I went to him for 2 years and he is great. I decided to change because he kept raising his prices and I just needed a change, however; I was always very happy with his cuts and color. He charges $140 for cut/color.

I use a young lady named Maria for quite some time now for my hair. She is at Zio Salon at Sunset and Pecos. I don't know if she is taking any new customers but she can recommend you to someone who is good at coloring and highlighting.

I've had my hair done twice and my 17 year old had his hair done once by Jaimie Cutter at Destination Garden Salon on Lake Mead and Tenaya in Summerlin. We're both very happy with her and we won't use anybody else. Good luck! :-)
