Has anyone taken GYMBOREE classes before? I have a three and half month old daughter and I am wondering if she is too young to enjoy this type of program? We would be starting it when she is around four months old. I know GYMBOREE is lots of fun for toddlers and children I just don't know if it is suitable for a baby. The class says
0-6 months but I thought I'd ask some Moms. Thank you!

What can I do next?

Hi There,
I have gone to gymboree and although it is wonderful at any age there are many FREE programs around that you can take you baby to. Gymboree is a bit pricey and if you contact your local recreation department or a mother's helpers source they can turn you on to all the free groups for your child. There are music and mommy and me's all kinds of wonderful things. Also, take a look at what some of the local churces in your area offers! Hope this helps! Have a wonderful day!

When I lived in N.Andover I took my daughter to Gymboree starting when she was 3 months. It was great for her and I met some really wonderful moms there. However, the success of the class really depends on the instructor and other participants. I attended some classes that were not good because the teacher was just not with it and the other parents didn't really participate. You can always attend a preview class. Good luck!

Hi A.,

Absolutely! I took my daughter when she was 4mo to Gymboree and she loved it. She's now almost 5 yo!!!

I'd take my son who is now almost 1 yo but the classes are just too expensive.

Enjoy!

Hi Marci

I just saw your posting about classes for your daughter.
I thought I'd give you some info on my business, BABYSTEPS Early Childhood Movement Center.

We are located in North Andover and have a lot of classes to offer you and your daughter that include dance, music, gym, storytime and athletic classes. We also have Playgroup & Parents' Group that meet each day.

We have a new class starting in September, Mamma Mambo, a high energy dance and workout class targeted toward you but taken by both you and your kids. The best part about our whole Babysteps program is that it is drop-in so you aren't stuck with a specific day and time once you sign up. You can come and go as you please for $10 a day (2 hours of classes) or $50/ month for unlimited classes (We are open 5 days/ week).

We are open Tues-Sat 9-12pm and our fall session begins Saturday September 6th
(Open House Mon-Fri, August 4-22nd 9-12pm). Please call us ###-###-#### or visit our website for more info www.nancychippendalesdancestudios.com and then click Babysteps under programs.
