S.,
We use this wonderful young man, whom my nephew totally looks up to. His name is Marc Alan and he is about 30 years old maybe. He is always on time to our home. He charges us 50 for an hour. What impressed us is how enthusiastic my nephew was and that Marc did not bore him with theory right off the bat. He believes to teach hands on, teaching his student to play a song the very first lesson. He leaves your son with chords to practice until the next lesson, then you build off of what he has learned well. My nephew is the same age as your son. Marc is very flexible with lesson times and days. He teaches chords, progressions, scales and theory, all hands on. He offers the first lesson at 50 dollars and no contract required. To go forth, then you can sign a contract and go on happily without being "stuck", as we had been before, which made the difference with us! We signed a contract for 7 lessons, get one of those lessons free...we paid 300. He will work with you if you want a smaller package. But remember, the first lesson is with NO contract. I highly recommend calling Marc to teach your son! We are very happy that we did. Also, I know that he has several openings right now. His contact number is: ###-###-####.
Good luck!!
A.
