Ground Lamb in Recipe

I am making a layered Greek dish for the first time which calls for ground lamb. The dish has a base of hummus with various layers of lettuce, tomatoes, feta, olives etc. I have never cooked with ground lamb. Anyone have any comments its cooking, taste etc? I could switch to ground beef but would not be authentic to its Greek theme.

Thanks for your help in advance.

You pretty much cook it just like ground beef. It should reach a temp of 165 degrees (F). Sounds yummy!

Just cook it with a little bit of salt and pepper like you would ground beef. We love ground lamb in our house. :) Enjoy.

In addition to salt and pepper, I would use rosemary while browning. I think garlic goes well with lamb too, but you might want to see if your hummus already has garlic in it.
