I crock pot my ribs for about 4 hours on low, pour out the grease and then grill them! I use a rib rub from penzeys or rub some brown sugar, ground cloves, liquid smoke all over them before crock potting them for added flavor. M.

I also like to cook mine in the oven first, low heat for a while, then put them on the grill to brown up. They turn out great!

Ok, this is coming from someone who has only cooked vegetarian for the last 17 years, but who has watched her carnivore husband make what people say 'are the best ribs they've ever eaten' on the grill.
First he boils them in water with a couple of sprigs of fresh rosemary in the water. I don't know how long, I don't know how much, I just know that's where he starts.
Then he slathers them in his special sauce ('special' meaning secret; I have no clue what's in it) and puts them in the oven for awhile. Again, I have no clue how long, cover or uncovered, or temp.
THEN he puts them on the grill, sauces them again, and drools waiting for them to come off. People say they are incredibly tender and yummy. I've never eaten them, but I have to believe the folks to do.

I always boil mine first for 45min-1hr before I put them on the grill. Also don't put them in direct heat if you don't want them to burn. I use foil underneath so the sauce doesn't drip into the grill.

Boil the ribs in water and 1-2 cups of vinegar. That will make them so tender they will fall off the bone. You can also put some spices in the water to cook in flavor

Hi K.,
Just cook them on low heat for a longer period of time. Also marinate them in regular Coca Cola for 15 min. to a half hour. They will turn out great!! Good luck, CK
