Green Nighttime Diapers

Hi Moms,
When my son was in diapers we used gdiapers (flushable). At night, gdiapers weren't enough so we always used pull-ups. My son still uses pull-ups at naps and nights. He is not ready to not wear them. I am not willing to wash sheets every day. What do y'all use at night that's not so destructive to our environment? Is there anything similar to a pull-up and less diaperish?
Thanks!
P.S. I belong to several social networking sites. This one I use and enjoy the most. Thanks to everyone!

My daughter is a heavy wetter and we use 7th generation pullups. sometimes they leak. You can get a diaper cover to go over them (we used to do that over nighttime paper diaper).

I would agree with the other person who said cloth. You can go to www.diaperpin.com and get more information. I am sure the women on there would be happy to let you know of some good night time toddler diapers.

I don't know about gdiapers???
I never knew that there were diapers that were good for the environment other than cloth diapers!

My son is 5 and still needs some help with it during sleep times. We buy him boxer/pullups. They are dark blue pullups (disposable) that look like boxers. He likes them because they make him feel like he's not a baby. He calls them his sleep underwear.

I don't know what else to say, but if you find out about something better let me know!

Seventh Generation pull-ups work well. They do occasionally leak, but not often.

I use cloth diapers or underwear on my toddler during the day (we're just starting potty training), and if I put underwear on him, I put a diaper cover over it. He has problems with a recurring diaper rash when I use cloth on him, so normally I use Fuzzi Bunz that have the fleece lining. They keep him drier during the day, and I just toss them in the wash with my infant's diapers. At night, we have to use disposables as his rash comes up overnight if we don't.

Cloth! We used cloth diapers and covers bought on ebay. Just search for cloth diapers and the size you're looking for, or "diaper covers 3t" for instance.

If you have a sewing machine, you can make them...the Honeyboy pattern is cute and worked great. It can be bought online. I made a bunch...happy to discuss if you want more info by email.

Best,
J.

I cloth diaper my son and for night time, I like to use Fuzzi Bunz. It's not too much of a pain to wash if you are only using one a night. Rinse every morning in cold water and wash them whenever you are doing a load in hot water. Good luck and good for you for being green. :)
