HI all,

I am SOOOO over using The Cleaning Authority here in the Dallas area. Do you have an individual or company that does eco friendly/green cleaning at an affordable price? I'm currently paying $165 for my whole house and have already had other companies try to swindle me and say my home is "too big" and they'd have to charge me in the $400's each month-that is wayyyy too much!

Any recommendations would be great!
TIA!!

What can I do next?

We use Claudia's Cleaning and they use Melaleuca products on our home that they purchase. We have a 4500sf home and their pricing is very reasonable. They also do a very thorough job. When we were negotiating our pricing several things came into play. Our good price came because we live simple. We don't have pictures or photos covering every available wall space nor do we have lots of nick knacks for them to clean or clean around. You can find their contact information on the Local Business section of Mamapedia. :) I hope this helps.

Have you asked anyone what the price would be if you were to provide your own preferred cleaning products? That way you always have them readily available for your spot cleaning and they don't have to go out and purchase them for what may just be one client.
$165 is high, but we also don't know the size of your house. The commute from Dallas to Allen is a pain, if that's where The Cleaning Authority is centrally located.

I recommend Beck-n-call Maid Service. They will accomodate what you want and I found them to affordable. Their deep cleaning is outstanding! One important point - the owner will provide proof of insurance. I found - the hard way - that not all cleaning companies are bonded.

You might try EcoMaids. I used them once, but I don't think every thing they use is "green." They usually have a coupon in the direct mail packets.
