I live in Bay Park but everyone in my neighborhood, including myself, takes their preschoolers to St. Marks's on Clairemont Drive. We are very happy there.
My grand-daughter will be 3 on 3/7/2010; we live in Clairemont; and I just found out she needs to go to pre-school!. How do you find a proper school that is affordable? I have
never experienced this before. Are there any Public School that have Pre-school? What do I look for or ask them? I see alot of Pre-schools on the internet some have 5 stars and others Have none; does that mean they are bad and less expensive? I would appreciate hearing from you savvy Moms on what questions to ask, look for, are there public schools
that have pre-school? I would appreciate your help. Thank you grateful granny.

I've heard amazing things about Noah's Ark preschool on Mt. Ararat. But, it isn't a daycare, just a preschool.
No child needs to go to pre-school. It is a choice that has to be made when both parents are working full time and there isn't any relative or friend that can care for the child.
I am curious about why she "needs" to go to preschool. What is so compelling about the preschool experience?
My children are five and they never went to preschool before starting their kindergarten curriculum. They have have had zero issues acclimating to class. If you are working on all that you say you are with her then it sounds like she is already getting a wonderful start on education with you as her caregiver.
Who better to spend time with her than family?
No, I am not a mom but I am married to a great one.
