never found anything free, we ended up just going to a blueprint website. Payed for it though but was so long ago I forgot what we paid. Maybe best to just have a contractor come out and give a free estimate.
We are looking at remodeling our bathroom and I want to find a website that allows me to plug in our dimensions and play with placement of sink, toliet, shower etc. My husband is extremely handy and can do the bulk of the work himself, but it's my job to design it and price everything. I just need a place to start and graph paper isn't working for me - I need something visual! I'd also like to use the same site to map out different ideas we have to redo our garage. I don't want to pay anyone to create actual plans, just want something I feel comfortable having my husband build...
Any suggestions or what's worked or hasn't worked for you is appreciated!

Do you have an iPad? There is a Decorator app for free. You snap a picture of the area and make the changes to see what it looks like. I don't know about adding furniture, i will have to find out on that, I haven't went that far. Good luck.
Here's O. (but the measurements are metric--maybe can be changed--not sure):

I just googled "virtual remodeling website" and a lot of things came up. I would start there.
Hi there,
I used IKEA for the design of my kitchen. I actually went with Home Depot cabinets, but the Ikea software worked really well to visualize profiles, colors, etc.
Good luck & enjoy your new bathrooms!
