My mom is coming to visit in a few weeks and she wants to go to disney world. the issue is she has very bad RA, like to the point wheres she's had many surgeries, so theres no way she could walk Disney. I was trying to find a good place that will rent scooters, because Ive seen the ones at Disney and they look so bulky. So any suggestions? PS we will NOT be staying at any resort seeing as i only live 2 hrs away,so Im not sure if a place will rent for 1 day? TIA
ADDED I ONLY NEED IT FOR ONE DAY does anyone know a place that rents ONE day

What can I do next?

Buena Vista Scooters . The info is on the allears.net website. they bring it to the hotel and pick it up there at the end. It was only about $250 for a week I think . Have a magical trip !

There is a list of places that rent scooters. Call them and inquire.

Honestly, though.... I'd go through Disney because you can pick up there and return there.

Not sure what you're looking for in terms of bulk.... But I clicked on the beunavista one and they have 3 models, the lightweight one might be more what you're looking for.

Most of the outside companies only rent for a minimum of 2 days, so keep that in mind. They are less expensive for people coming for at least a week and they deliver to the hotels.

If you are only going for the day I would just get the scooter there. They are bulky but they get around just fine.

We were at Disney a couple of weeks ago and rented a scooter for 3 days for my mum due to a couple of knee surgeries.

Those scooters are very heavy...we choose 4 wheeler thinking better for balancing...and putting them in and out of the car was no joke as they are very heavy.

In the evening we took it to our rental condo as we wanted to charge the battery. Luckily we had a ground floor condo due to the knees...

The scooter rental was only $30 a day but if I had to do it again I would pay extra and rent it at the park.

Yes..you can rent for 1 day.
