Hi,
I remember having that issue and used one of my feminine napkins in my son's diaper at night.
Good Luck!
Hi Moms
My son is 14 months and is in stage 4 diapers. We are currently using Sams Club diapers because they are a lot cheaper than name brand. However, my son has recently started leaking during the night. He sleeps from 8:30pm-7:30am and the last week he has wet the bed every night. Usually it is just a bit of dampness on his pjs and nothing on the sheets. However, this morning there was a puddle! I feel awlful that he is wetting through his diapers. Does anyone have a good suggestion for super absorbent diapers for night time?
Thanks for your help!
Thanks, Moms
I got the Huggies Supremes because I couldn't find the overnights (went to 2 different targets). Anyway - my son was dry this morning.
Thanks again

Hi T.
We always buy Target brand diapers. My son was always waking up wet, even with the brand name diapers. They worked well for him. Good Luck!

We use Huggies overnights and they are great! If he's leaking you either need to go a size up or try the overnights, or a different brand. For daytime we've had to switch back and forth w/ pampers and huggies when her "shape" changed. It's trial and error.
Hi mine is 16 months, he is a bundle at 34 lbs. and 34 inches. Anyway, the best is Pampers Crusiers, size 6 for my guy, they are the best with movement in his sleep, constantly moving around, and they don't break open, or leak. Unless you don't change his diaper for more than 12 hours of course. Hope this helps. Walgreens sells the 22 pack for 7.99 quite frequently for your night time uses. :0)

When my son was in this size of diaper we had the same problem. He would wet thru most nights. I found Huggies has an overnight diaper. He was able to get thru the night and the bed would be dry. Not all places carry the overnight diaper so you may need to check several stores.
Good Luck!
Diaper Doublers!!!
They work pretty good. We have got them at the grocery store as well as babies r us. They come in a pack that actually looks like maxi pads, which is pretty much what they are. You put them inside of the diaper and there you go.
They seem to really help, unless my son sleeps REALLY late, otherwise he is usually dry in the morning.
Good Luck!

Hi! My son is 20 months and he's been in Huggies Overnites for what seems like forever. We only use them at night cuz they're superabsorbent. HTH!
K.
Huggies are the best - we've never had a blowout or leakage for our 20 month old. The price is great at costco but you can also find them on sale at walgreens or another grocery store and use the $1.00 off coupon towards the sale price!
Good luck,
M.
I Have used Huggies overnights in the purple package that is the best I have been able to do. They hardly ever are wet in the morning.
i also noticed my daughter starting to do that also at night. So what i do is i put her in pampers at night and we use the cheaper diapers during the day, since i am changing them more often. i hope this helps a little bit.
I used Overnights diapers by Huggies and they worked well. However, the same thing happened to my daughter at about 11 months, and at almost 13 months, she got very sick and we found out that she was type 1 diabetic. What a shock, I never thought a child that young could be diabetic. Below are additional symptoms of diabetes. Please see if your child has any of these additional symptoms and take him to the pediatrician to get a simple blood test if he does. If he does, and you catch it early, he may not end up in ICU for 3 days like my baby did. Don't mean to be an alarmist, but I wish someone had told me about the symptoms when my daughter was wetting through at night.
Warning signs of type 1 diabetes (these may occur suddenly):
Extreme thirst
Frequent urination
Sudden vision changes
Sugar in urine
Fruity, sweet, or wine-like odor on breath
Increased appetite
Sudden weight loss
Drowsiness, lethargy
Heavy, labored breathing
Stupor, unconsciousness

I have used both Sams diapers and name brand diapers. I cant use Huggies because my daughter gets a rash from them. I buy the Pampers Cruisers from Sams Club. They are $10 more than the Sams brand but worth the extra money. I also agree going up a size. Hope it helps!
Try to reduce the amount he drinks at night, but I use White Cloud from Walmart and rarely do they leak. To me, they are sooooo much better than any other brand, huggies leaked, pampers leaked, but white cloud does a great job and they are very cost efficient!
Huggies Supreme Diapers. Not to be confused with regular Huggies Diapers. These are the best!!!!
My son (he's now 30 months, 36 lbs and in size 6 diapers) has had this same trouble since forever. He's also always been a tummy sleeper, so it's a double hit. I like Target brand diapers. They really hold a lot (our little guy is also the "drinker" in the family and could probably still live on a liquid diet). We occasionally still have trouble, but we have been putting the old fashioned plastic pants over the diaper at night only, and now it's fine. Target diapers are CHEAP! $5.79 for the "jumbo" size pack. They are also not those nasty plastic ones. They are the softer "cloth" like material, with the velcro tabs.
we have the same problem with our 18 month old. cut back on fluids before bed, first of all. that has really helped us. and it's good for future potty training anyway. but we use pampers cruisers and they seem to be the most absorbent. you could try going up a diaper size too. the best place to buy them is at target. they sell a box of 72 diapers for $18 or $19.. but then they also occasionally have a bigger box for $26 that's the best deal. but they don't have that big box every time I go... most of the time though.
I don't like the pampers baby dry. the name sounds good, but we didn't think they worked as well as the cruisers...
the new huggies natural fit work well too. we just tried those.
good luck
I'm another voter for Huggies overnights in the purple package. I've had trouble finding them everywhere but they're definitely worth it. My son still leaks occasionally overnight but we're working on that - he still needs a sippy cup of milk before bed that contributes to the problem.
Same problem here. I was so tired of changing the sheets and my sons clothes in the middle of the night. Not to sound like a commercial but Huggies overnights works for us. I can only find them at Target. Also, using a bigger size in most diapers, does offer you more absorancy. I think it even says this on the pampers website. Good luck!
My daughter is 13 months old. We use size 4 Pampers Cruisers. They are about the same price at Babies R Us if you buy them in bulk (which you probably do since you shop at Sam's). My daughter sleeps from 8pm-8am, and always wakes up dry. Full....but dry!
I had the same problem. I started to use the size 5 only at night. They wiggle so much at night that they make room to escape the diaper. also is he taking it off one side. My daughter did that so we had to tape the diaper on her. it looked silly and a bit strange but she was dry.
I just love the Huggies Overnites, and I use the size 5 for my 16 month old. We've been using these forever, it seems, because he has the same problem, and is always wetting through otherwise. We never have a leak with these diapers. I know that CVS carries them, and I always use a coupon too, since they're a little pricey. They're totally worth it, though, since you'll only use 1 each day. Take care!
J. :)
My daughter has been out peeing her diapers since she was born 3 months early! In fact she has always looked like her diapers were up around her chest but it was the only way to keep her dry. We tried every diaper and were even up to size 6 and shes tiny! You can imagine how that looked! But believe it or not there is a Walgreens diaper brand that when you take them out feel strange (unlike the Huggies and Luvs) but they really seem to do the trick. The other thing you might try is limit how much he drinks around bedtime.
We always had a problem with our son pooping out of his diapers (yucky). Well, after trying all the brands, we have found the Huggies Supreme work really well for him. Maybe give them a try for at night and use the more cost effective ones during the day.
Good luck.

possibly go up a size and try walmart parents choice or white cloud
this is sooo a boy thing. i agree with the other moms about a size up but not the brand. i used regular huggies(from sam's) and just pointed his private part down while in the diaper. it does help as odd as it sounds. reposioning worked wonders
Try Huggies Overnights I love them, they hardly ever leak
I know they also make nighttime insert pads you can add to diapers for nighttime use. I have seen then at Jewel and they aren't too pricey.
My son is 3 and we have had this problem for awhile. He is in size 6 diapers so there is really no going up. But we use the Huggies Overnights at night (they only go up to a size 5 so they are a little tight on my son) and they work awesome. I am not usually a Huggies girl but these have saved me so much laundry!!!!
I also say try going up a size in your regular brand and see if that helps...it helped here for awhile.
I agree with the other moms. This is a boy thing. I had the same problem with my 17 month old. Cut back on the fluids before bed, point his pee pee down and use the Huggies Overnights. This worked well for me since my son is a tummy sleeper. Good luck
Pampers Cruisers....they're definately not cheap, but Sam's has them and so does Toys or Babies R us and they are by fasr THE best when it comes to leaks! My son is three and I have used them since day one. I have tried all the others just for comparison, and nothing is even close. Good Luck!
I just started purchasing Huggies Overnight Diapers for only during the night. I also make sure that the diaper is big enough for my son - the advice I got was purchase one size bigger.
Buy OVERNIGHTS by huggies, they never leak at nighttime!
Hi T.!
I had the same problem using Sam's Club diapers. If you want a diaper that is cost effective as well as reliable, I would suggest Target diapers. I just started using these diapers this month and I have not had one problem yet. I wish that I would have known about these diapers with my son when he was a baby and when my daughter was born. Trust me, they are great!!!
I agree to go up a size at night, so if size 4 during the day, then size 5 at night. If it still doesn't work with the cost effective brand you want, I agree that the Huggies supreme worked best for us, or the Pampers Baby Dry. My kids both wear one size bigger at night and I don't do juice before bed...just water as it gets later helps avoid the leaking because with water they will drink if they are thirsty, whereas another drink they may drink a lot more of simply because it tastes good. So that could halp with leaking also to just do water as it gets closer to bed time. Also, as far as cost effective diapers, I've found that it is often cheaper to buy smaller packages (one thing that is often NOT cheaper in bulk) and use coupons. Using the coupons on smaller packages is often a bigger PERCENTAGE off, so it comes out cheaper per diaper. Sometimes it comes out even cheaper to buy Pampers or Huggies than generic if you coordinate sales and coupons and even rebates sometimes. Target also has a good generic diaper and it's just 5.74 for a jumbo pack as I remember. So there's a side note as you try to find the bargains. :)
Hi T.,
I think it's more of a boy thing. Not that it doesn't happen to girls. My son had more of the problem peeing out his diapers as well. I agree with the other mom's about going up a size. For some odd reason it really works! I like huggies and I used the huggie supremes only at night. I tried the pampers and didn't care for them. Luvs weren't too bad (cheaper).
If you are interested in huggies log on to their website and signed up for coupons.
Good luck!
