So sorry about this problem....I'm in Raleigh and I see you are in SC so, I only know Raleigh docs......

I hope all goes well for you....don't let any doc intimidate you or push you around by telling you there's nothing they can do for you....doctors work for you, not the other way around! Fire the ones that won't help and find someone who will!

If all else fails, try alternative docs....they work WITH you as a patient and are much more empathic!

I hope that a doctor can help you with this. In the meantime, I would recommend that you take the herb slippery elm. You should probably take it in powder form mixed with water or juice or tea so that it will coat your throat/esophagus. It will coat the lining and help it heal up (without inhibiting your body's ability to digest things). I hope this helps you - I imagine it must be so painful and inconvenient. God bless you.

Dr. Darrow with CHKD is a great ear nose and throat doctor. My son just went through two surgeries related to a double aortic arch. It is a very rare condition but Dr. Darrow was able to identify it when no one else could. Give hime a try, he may be able to help you.
