Yes, any of the therapists at Northwestern University Family Institute on the Evanston campus are great. My BF and I saw Dr Anthony Chambers and I would highly recommend him.
My husband and I need a tune-up! Does anyone have a couple's therapist they would recommend whole-heartedly? It'd be great if they were on the north side of Chicago, so we wouldn't have to deal with travel and/or parking. Thanks!

The Family Institute in Evanston is a great resource. They have tons of wonderful counselors. I've used 2 of them at different times: Victor Dye, and Sylvia Corcoran. Both really good. But I imagine anyone you get there would be great. They are connected to Northwestern University. Good luck!
Mary Best has an office in Evanston, not far from the train. She is amazing with couples! I know she did some training through the Family Institute. I know many people who have seen her for counseling. I can't say enough about her! Her office number is ###-###-####. Good luck.
I would highly recommend Cherilyn Veland of Lincoln Park Counseling. She has the perfect personality for this type of work and her office is located around Armitage and Halsted, which might be really convenient for you. Her number is ###-###-####.
Hi S.,
I don't know if she's accepting new clients (she probably is), but I recommend Dr. Sharon Risch, an affiliate of the Family Institute (Northwestern). She has offices downtown and in Ravenswood. ###-###-#### ext. 208

I've also heard good things about Michele Weiss, LMFT. She has offices downtown (same office as Dr. Risch) and in Lakeview. ###-###-####
Best,
