Good Bread Maker Brand?

Hi ladies,

My husband and I have been wanting to get a bread maker for a long time now, and after reading tons of reviews online, no one can seem to agree! Half the reviews are raving how great the product is, and the other half say how horrible it is. Do any of you ladies have a tried and true brand that you've stuck with over the years? Any brands you can say for certain that none of the models are worth it? Any personal insights are greatly appreciated!

What can I do next?

I'm no expert on bread machines, but I just have had one for YEARS and it has worked well for me. It's obviously older (I got it probably 8-10 years ago) but it still works (just this year I have noticed sometimes the bread doesn't come out quite as full, risen up as it should but that could be the yeast I used, I just made a loaf the other day and it was fine). Anyways it's a West Bend and makes 1 or 1 1/2 lb loaves. If I were to get a new one I would look into one that can make 2lb loaves, but I'm sticking with this one so far, it still works.
Hope that helps

When I worked at Williams Sonoma many years ago, they sold one that worked well. It was their brand. I don't know if they still sell it.

WHEN I FIRST GOT MY BREAD MACHINE I WENT ON LINE AND DID SOME RESEARCH. THEN SINCE I HAVE A YAHOO ACOUNT I WENT TO SEE IF THERE WAS A GROUP FOR BREAD MACHINES AND SURE ENOUGH THERE IS. THEY ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS BECAUSE THEY THEMSELVES USE BREAD MACHINES

I don't know about a bread maker, but I have a super EASY homemade bread recipe that I make all the time. It can be made in a loaf or rolls. Let me know if you want it.
