A.,
What about a gift from Things Remembered....you can have it engraved and they have nice things in their store.
I hope this helps.

Hello, everyone. My daughter is getting baptized in a few weeks and I was wondering if anyone could give me ideas of a small gift to give her God-Parents. I just wanted to give them a small gift to show our appreciation. Thanks for your ideas!!

When both of my children were baptized, we gave the Godparents a picture frame with the child's name on it. Then, at the baptism we took a picture of the two of them together and gave it to them for their frame. They all seemed to like them very much.
We got our godparents prayer boxes. I don't remember where we got them, but I imagine a religious store/bookstore would carry them.
Hi Amy, I too think the picture in frame with the inscription would just be the best gift ever. We did not have godparents for our children but if I had it to do over I definitely would. God Bless your family
The cathedral book store had a good book about being a God parent called The God Parent Book by Elain Ramshaw. My husband bought it for himself when he was asked to be our friends Godfather, but I think it would make a nice gift also.
How about a nice frame with a picture of your daughter? Throughout the years you can update the picture for them.
As a Godmother myself, I don't think a gift is necessary, but something simple (like a picture frame) is a kind gesture. Being asked to be a Godparent is such a gift/blessing/honor in itself.
Congratulations on your little princess!
A picture of them holding your child. Put in a nice frame. Christian stores have special frames for baptism. Send a small flower arrangement before and the picture after. They'll love it and enjoy the memory it brings for many years. God Bless, Linnea
We gave our children's godparents engraved frames. The frames said "I Love My Godmother" and "I Love My Godfather". We took pictures of each of them holding my daughter and son on their baptism day and put those pictures in the frames. My daughter is now 10 and each godparent still has the picture up in their home. Our godparents weren't husband and wife. If yours are then you could get one frame that says "I Love My Godparents" and put a picture of your child with both of them in it.
Hi A., I recently gave my in-laws a personalized and handmade picture frame of my kids and they absoluetly loved it! I found it on www.withlovealib.com, here is the gift I bought for my in-laws:

My daughters have gotten a couple gifts...one idea is a cross necklace or baby ring engraved with their initial. My godparents got one for me and I still have it, as I grew up it turned into a pinky ring. Another idea would be a tie-a-pearl necklace. You can purchase it at a jewelry store (its the cultured pearls) and then each year for a birthday, a pearl could be added.
Take one of the birth announcements and have it put in a nice frame with Proud God-parent of baby's name engraved on it.
If these are people who are close you could give them brag books with a few pictures of the baby and them in it.
A framed picture of the baby and their foot or hand prints on it.
i don't have any ideas, but was hoping you could share any ideas you get :)
