Me, my mom and my daughter are going away for the weekend. I thought that i wanted to do something fun, to recognize that its girls weekend. A friend bought matching necklaces for her and her daughter. I want to do something like that but cant think of any other ideas. I do not want to do a tshirt.

What can I do next?

We did a paint your own pottery day when my daughter was probably 5 and we went on vacation to Kitty Hawk NC.

We painted a cake plate.

My mom's thumb print was the stem and leaves.
My thumb print was the middle of the flower.
My daughter's thumb print were the petals around the flower.

Then we wrote our names, the location and the date of our day around the side of the cake plate - like a boarder.

I LOVE it.

However, you could each do a regular plate or a bowl or a vase or whatever. I LOVE paint your own pottery.

I'm not sure how old your daughter is.... but the first time she was old enough to be included in mani/pedi's was probably the highlight of her life.

Have fun!

Matching bracelets or earrings. Something silly and fun could be matching socks! Or matching hair styles... Braids or pony tails with the same hair piece: ribbons or flower clip. In stores you can also find colored hair pieces (Justice has them now). That's fun. Or just dress all in similar colors or floral prints or plaid. Options are endless.
It's a great idea to spend some girlie time together!
Have fun.

Forgot to mention you can make jewelry together and craft kits for hair pieces are available to make together an use as a great keepsake.

Take a picture blow it up and hang it in the house. Depending where you are going get something there that reminds you of the trip.
