I second the gift card idea. But, if you want to add something personal, a handmade card from your child would be nice(laminate it to make it more durable & keepable).
My daughter's last day in daycare is next Thursday and she has two teachers. I'd like to get them something inexpensive, yet useful. Any ideas? Thought about doing a coffee mug with her handprints and something else - maybe a picture frame? Or if anyone is in childcare, what is a gift you would like to receive?

I think a planter or a hanging basket of flowers is a good idea. I gave this to my kids' daycare every year and they loved it!
I went to PositivePromotions.com this year. They have some GREAT ideas (but shipping is outrageous!!!!) I did buy my gifts from them this year, probably won't in the future, but I love the ideas. They are extremely useful and cute.
I would go to Starbucks and get them each a $5.00 gift certificate. Teachers get soooo many presents they don't even need. I have gotten to the point of only giving gc's, either to coffee houses, restaurants, or book stores.
This isn't going to specifically answer your question, but anything. As a private daycare provider myself, it would be great just to know that the parents thought of me. Something slightly more personal. ie: coffee mug and gift certificate, something just for her.

My name is J. and I am a BeautiControl Consultant where we specialize in spa treatments, personalized skincare and anti-aging and one of our spa products is the extreme repair. The extreme repair is LOVED by teachers because they are constantly washing their hands and this lotion will not come off with a normal hand washing, it will stay on for about two to three washings. Another perk of this product is that it is concentrated with healing alpha hydroxy acids so a little bit goes a long way and the best part is the purse size lotion (about 50 or so uses) is only $5. Please let me know if you have any questions or if I can help in another way.
Have a great day,
J.
