M.,
Yes you can get pregnant with irregular periods. We have three kids to prove it. Just relax and don't worry about it so much and it will happen. By the way, I was never able to regulate my periods, they were always crazy, anywhere from 24-45 days apart.

Yes you can.

However, my advice would be to relax. I'd been told I would need surgery to get pregnant. Then, about 7 years later got the flue with everyone else at work, but it didn't go away. She is now 3 and my youngest is 9 months. I've never had regular cycles, so with her, my last period was in July and she was born the next.

Yes - You ovulate 2 weeks before a period. I had extremely irregular periods after my D&C 3 years ago. Check out "Taking Control of Your Fertility" - Its a great book and will help you understand your cycles. I now have 2 little girls!

It took me 8 months to get pregnant after a D&C. Try using Ovulating predictor kits. Your cycles are just wonky from the D&C. I know how frustrating it is but try to relax and know that it will happen it just takes time.

You need to talk to your doctor about this.

M.,

If you can, I would go see an Acupuncture doctor to help regulate your periods. They are fantastic with fertility issues. If you would like more info, email me and I can give you the name and details etc. I've had fertility issues for years and it wasn't until I went to acupuncture, that I got pregnant. You need to find one who is trained in fertility, that's the key, not everyone is good with this speciality.

Good luck.

M.,

Rule out any problems with your obgyn first. Depending on your circumstances it shouldn't be a problem. Have sex every other day. Thats what my doctor told me to do and we got pregnant very shortly after---- good luck!
