i have a friend who is a scout in the boys division of an international modeling agency. If you like, I can forward some pics to her and she'd let you know if it's worth pursuing.
I know everyone thinks they have the cutest baby...I was wondering if anyone has any advice or contacts if someone wanted to get their baby into modeling? Nothing like a career but just ads or pictures for magazines, etc.

My daughter was in model at the age of 3. Go directly to an agency and be your own child's representative. We went through what was an agancy but was a source to screen potentials for an agency that ran auditions.
Secondly, make sure that your child is well rested. The process is lengthy and understandably so because each look see or audition is different and you don't know what they are looking for. Be supportive to the child and let them be natural. Pushing doesn't get you anywhere. All the best. S. K.
I too seeked out many modeling agencies for my daughter...it was never a surprise when she was accepted (as we all agree our children are beautiful)BUT there was always a catch, always had to pay something. The best advice I can give is DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH, REALLY CHECK IT OUT...there is so much information out there! PLEASE just don't give anybody your money...I'm sure you work hard for it and you don't want to get scammed!!! GOOD LUCK!
I modeled as a child. The best agency you can go with in the Chicago area is Lilly's. They are reputable and professional, and work closely with parents to prepare children and parents for a career in entertainment. They sent me to numerous auditions for movies, commercials, print ads, etc. Some of the big names that I auditioned with were McDonald's, Gerber, Sunbeam, and I did get a job with Paul Mitchell.
The other advice I can offer is that you will need a candid and clear photo of your child, with the child's name, age, your name and contact info. Keep up to date photos in hand, as these are what you will use when attending auditions. Once your child turns 3 years old, you will need to take him/her to a professional photographer to create a composite card, and you'll need to update it every 6 months or so.
Wish you the best of luck!
