Go to a book store and get the book about that subject. I bought the book about 10yrs ago for a friend and they tried it and it worked. But I can't remember the name of the book or the author but try to look it up.

I have three boys and my husband and I want to try for that little girl. Has anyone ever tried any type of gender selection. I have been doing research on the internet and have found some sites. I was wondering if anyone has any words of wisdom on this subject, or if you know of anyone who has tried this. thanks.

This Chinese gender chart might be a fun site to try. It was actually acurate both times for me! :-)

You might try finding a book based on the SHETTLES METHOD.
I don't believe any gender selection "strategy" works. My sister had similar experience to you only that she preferred a boy for her second child. She followed the so-called strategy and obviously none worked.
We have two girls and 4 boys in a row. All in our family would like to have that sweet little girl after all those boys:) ...but I think instead of just shooting for the girl again, if we feel that we'd like to add another to our family, we'd adopt. It's a little more predictable and a lot less like playing God with the life within the womb.
My mother-in-law had 2 boys and then stopped having children...something about population control...When I married her son she said she finally had a daughter and is the best mother a girl could have and loves her granddaughters too. (Might try the taking charge of fertility book others recommended)
Good luck with your research.
We had two girls and were hoping for a boy on this last go around. We used the book by Landrum Shettles called How to Choose the Sex of Your Baby. Our baby boy was born in October! We just went into it knowing that we wanted a third, and a boy would be great. We would not have been disappointed either way.
Try the book, "How to Choose the Sex of your Baby". I'm sure I got it at one of the big book stores. I really wanted a little girl as well. After reading the book, our little Olivia was born!!! Good luck to you!
My husband and I are in the same situation. We have three boys and would love to have a little girl. I have been doing research on the internet as well, but short of spending a fortune, I dont know if the natural methods of conceiving a girl would be just as good or not worth chancing. I love my boys, and another boy wouldnt be the end of the world, I mean, at least I wont have to purchase much, but would love to buy some PINK in the near future. Email me if you'd like, maybe we can enchange information about what we find out and see if one of us actually get the girl? lol...
Dear M.,
I worked in Labor and Delivery with a nurse who had 2 boys and 1 girl. She wanted to try for one last child, and she felt it should be a girl. She did all the things necessary to help insure a baby girl.
It worked. She got her girl.
Good Luck ! Best wishes.

We have 3 boys and 1 girl! I had two friends who swore charting their ovulation timing worked for them, so we decided to give it a try and we had a girl! We have since told two other families who actually wanted a boy after having two girls and yes it worked for them too! I think you learn all you can about charting your ovulation, chart it for multiple months and then you go for it! We truly prayed for a healthy baby no matter what the sex. We just thought what the heck, sometimes God puts information in front of us for a reason. I believe you have another child because you want to have another child regardless of the sex. If it works and you end up with a girl great! If not then you are still so blessed to have a new wonderful boy! God has a plan.
Good Luck!
We used "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" book. There's a section on gender selection and charting your cycle. It worked for us...we're due with a boy in October!
Hi M.,
I have 2 boys and wanted to try for a girl. I might have gone overboard but my periods are irregular. I got "Taking Charge of your Fertility" and "How to choose the sex of your baby". I also joined the Determining Sex Board on Babycenter. There is an overwhelming amount of information and in the end for me I just believed it was chance anyway but we did have a girl so who knows.
You can email me off list if you want to know what I did. ____@____.com
Good Luck

As much as couples would love to have a son or, in this case a daughter, I would encourage you to trust God in this matter. Pray and ask Him to give you the child HE wants you to have. I know the knowledge is out there and we are capapble of manipulating things to be what we want. However, this isn't always in God's will. PRAY, PRAY, PRAY! He will reveal what He has planned for your family.
I would also like to encourage you to consider adoption, if you so desperately want a daughter. (Again, pray about this.) There are over 140,000 children AVAILABLE for adoption in the foster care system. (Not just to foster, but parent's rights have been terminated and they are simply waiting to be wanted.) It could be the answer to your prayers! A little girl who wants a family... and a family who wants a little girl. You could literally save the life of an innocent child this way rather than letting them perish in the foster system (as well meaning as it is.)
I will lift you in prayer for this.
Blessings,
M. Schultze (adoptive mommy of four and about to be blessed with pregnancy - according to God! - at age 42!)

Don't buy any books. Just log onto Web MD and search for ovulation calendar. Set up an account, which is free, and put in your cycle info. It will then produce an ovulation calendar. All you have to do if choose the gender you want and it will tell what to do each day of your cycle to get a girl. Hope this helps.
Hi M.. Being a woman of faith, my suggestion would be to pray about it. If the Lord is meaning for you to have a little girl, it will happen. Pray pray pray & I will pray for you too! Good luck & God bless!
My mom back in the day told me when she had my brother she had duched with baking soda and than she decided she wanted a girl so she duched with vinegar. She said she read it in a book...girls like the acidic enviroment...good luck
We started trying a few days (about 5) before I ovulated, apparently this gives you a better chance at a girl from what I have read.
Good luck!
