I have used both. I prefer Bum Genius and Fuzzi Bunz to gDiapers but both are good options.

gDiapers a lighter and thinner for carrying around and you don't have wash the cover every time as you do with pockets diapers, but you do need to take them apart if they are dirty or the outer cover will get dirty and that is kind of a pain when you are out. Also, since you can use the cover multiple times before washing you can buy less covers so you have to wash them about the same, but since the gdiaper covers do not have a role in the absorbancy, you can wash them with any laundry load so that is a bit easier.

Still, I prefer the pockets for being out because you just put the whole thing in a dirty bag and deal with it later.

Even though the website discourages it, you can use cloth/microfiber insets with gDiapers and that is another possibility.

Both are good systems and I would recommend either one.

We have the Bumgenious 2.0 and 3.0 one size diapers, and we love them! (The 3.0's are nice because you get an extra insert and they're easier to stuff.)

I don't use either, but I do use cloth fitteds with PUL or wool covers and a few FuzziBunz. Loved, loved, LOVED using cloth on my son and cannot wait to CD my next baby (due in June!). Did you have questions?
