What do people look for at garage sale, so I don't waste my time putting stuff out that no one will buy?

What can I do next?

so far everone is right but one thing they left out is what usually attrects people is big items at the end and towards the middle of your drive way such as a changing table, bikes, table and chairs, a book shelf any thing to draw attention

They will buy ANYTHING if its cheap enough. Seriously we sold old tshirts for 25cents and all the other moms said they woudl not sell we sold all 20 of them!!

You jsut never know what will go! Price it right and it will sell..

My neighbor had a garage sale where everything was either $1 or $5. And EVERYTHING sold. If your goal is to get rid of everything, price it LOW. I read somewhere that you should not ask for more than 10 percent of what the item was originally worth. If your motivation is to clean out, you could do what my neighbor did and advertise it as that: EVERYTHING either $1 or $5, and people will come in droves. At least they did for her. Good luck!
