Does anyone know if you can bring a cooler into the Ft Worth Zoo? I am planning a trip with my 4 kids and would like to bring in Drinks for them.Thanks

"For the safety of park guests, the Zoo discourages coolers/ice chests and prohibits smoking. Dates, hours and prices are subject to change."

I do reccomend bringing sunscreen and bug spray.

We go rather regularly. We bring our lunch in the insulated lunch bags. We don't bring a cooler...it would be too heavy and cumbersome to lug around anyway. You are allowed drinks, but they will make you take off lids and straws when you are walking around the park, for the safety of the animal. I usually freeze a few bottles of water, so they are cold and no need to worry about lids and straws. Sippy cups are ok...we usually have one. Bring hats and lots of sunscreen. And we try to plan our walks to where we go to inside and then outside exhibits so we stay cooler. Have fun! The dino exhibit is a lot of fun!
