Hi, I was wondering at what age should I begin giving my daughter her milk in a cup? She already has her water and juice in a training cup! She's 13 months old.

What can I do next?

We made the bottle "disappear" at 11.5 months and surprisingly our son had no problem making the transition Good luck!

It is reccomended to stop bottles at 12 months, but it's really up to you.

My son was totally off the bottle by 15 mos. He wanted to drink from our cups starting at 6 mos so I started to introduce it then. My daughter is almost 11 mos and she gets her formula from a cup for dinner. And we introduced the cup at about 8 mos. I hope to have her totally off the bottle by 15 mos. She only gets the bottle about 3 times a day anymore. Other then that she gets either a sippy or a strawed cup.

I have heard that 12 months is the time when you should really push the transition over... I had my son on a sippy cup at 7 months and right now he only gets a bottle at bed/nap time.
Nuby has great transitioning cups, however i did find that the ones with the shorter tops leaked a bit. I also really liked the avent training cups.

We switched one day completely to the sippy cup. Our son had just turned 1. The bottles were all leaking and we decided not to replace them. Our son had no problem switching.
Good luck,
J.
