Absolutely and also a technique called CranioSacral therapy is very, very helpful which I do. I have an office in West boomfield and see lots of kids.

Hi!
I was wondering if anyone has had success with taking their child to the chiropractor to help stop ear infections? Thanks!

B., you can find a chiropractor who is board certified in pediatric chiropractic at www.mcpakids.org
another great resource is www.icpa4kids.org
Sometimes this helps... I have also heard that Cranial Sacral Therapy helps very much and it is something I wish I did for my son instead of the tubes... If I only knew then what I know now!
Good Luck!
Just please be leary of the chiropractor that wants to see you more than they really should... Too many frequent adjustments on the body can actually harm your ligaments...and not many will admit it as they want to use up the insurance money (I just recently witnessed this with one in Sterling Hts and left due to this reason and a few others.)
FYI I tried it and it did not work not to mention it got costly. I ended up getting tubes for my son and it has made a world of difference. Do what feels right to you.
Hi B.,
I personally haven't but a friend of mine brought her baby and it helped tremendously. I go to the chiropractor once a month and I think it helps me. It doesn't hurt to try.

If this is for the 7 month old and you are nursing, you can try dropping your breast milk in the baby's ear. It is a natural antibiotic = ) Otherwise - cannot comment on the chiropractor....
My husband and I see a Chiropractor but I am very leery on having my daughter adjusted.
When she had chronic ear infections I took her to an ENT. He put tubes in her ears and things have been great since.
