The Boardwalk Bowl offers a free round of bowling to every child every day. I usually take my kids 3 times a week - they open at 10am & you can go any time of the day.
My summer budget is getting drained! I need to find free things to do in the greater Orlando area. It's too hot to just hang out at parks. My challenge is it has to be not only free (or very cheap) but it has to appeal to all 3 kids-- I have a toddler who is 2 and I also have a 9 year old girl and 10 year old boy. I know of a couple of free parks that squirt water (like Capehart and Downtown Disney)-- and there is storytime at the loacl libraries (story for toddler while older kids check out books)-- any other ideas?

Hi Tammi, here is a few things to do near downtown. Have a great day! H.
Mead Butterfly Gardens
FREE Family Film Festival-Regal Cinemas Winter Park
B52 Memorial Park-near airport
Target Family Festival( July 19th) Loch Haven Park
Back to school event (Aug 2nd) Amway Arena
Mr. Richards-Barnes and Noble Winter Park
The art museum is free from 1-4 on Thursdays. They also do crafts around 2 (I would double check) and the fee is only $1.00 per person.
Their is a splash pad that is $1 at Downey park off Dean Road in East Orlando.
Leu Gardens also has a free day too :)
Regal cinema has free movies every tue/wed at all their locations all summer. 10am, come early!!!
Hi Tammy,
Winter Park & Wekiva Riverwalk both have movies for FREE twice a week I think at 10 am...check their schedules. They do this every summer. Leu Gardens has free movies. Libraries have story times. Walking around Downtown Disney is free & fun; bring a ball to play in the grassy area there. The Sanford Zoo is fairly inexpensive (& has a fantastic new splash pad). I think it's $60 for the year for an annual FAMILY pass. Many local churches offer Mom's Day out programs where you can meet new Moms and the kids can play together for a couple of hours. Otherwise, at home: crafts, practice cooking, making helping with chores a game (mine love sorting & doing laundry), etc. Good luck & God Bless! Love, B.
I'm just looking for some where to go with kids, so if you guys find some fun things to do with a 2 year old, pleasel let me know. ###-###-####
