I love Earth's best organic infant formula. It even smells ok. diapers.com has a good price on it. Or you can get it in Whole Foods.
My son is eight month. I want to swich from breastmilk to formula because he dosent take the breast. I have to exclusively pump. Which formula is best. I tried enfamil and similac and he threw up from both. Any suggestions ?? Thanks.

With my first I used Similac, and with my second I used Parent's Choice (Walmart brand). My doctor said generic is just as good.
It's possible that formula is just too different from breast milk, and your son needs time to adjust. You could try mixing 1 ounce of formula with 4 ounces of breast mile (or something like that) and then gradually increase the amount of formula.
His "throwing up" is probably from drinking it too quickly and getting a gas bubble. Check with your pediatrician and try giving hima bottle when he's not so hungry so he won't gulp it. I had to get used to bottle feeding after nursing my babies - there's more air getting through and more need to burp.
good start. The name was nestle now gerber bought the company. I am due in 2 weeks and I loved it for my 6 and 5 year old and i am planning on using it this time around.
Have you tried Similac Alimentum? I had to use the powder and it was a miracle worker! I just wanted to add that you should try ready to pour formulas as well. My son took to the alimentum powder but if I gave him the liquid...forget about it, it was so not good! Hope this helped!
You have to use it more than once, it may take time for his tummy to get used to the change. I would start by mixing it half and half with breast milk so the transition will not be so dramatic. With my boys I used enfamil, I liked the fact that it mixed so smooth, never clumpy.
Is it possible that your son is allergic to dairy? My daughter has a dairy allergy and could never accept regular formula (she would vomit it up). It was easiest to keep her on breastmilk. Definitely speak to his pediatrician about it. Good luck.
I put my son on Babys Only lactose Free Organic formula at 10 months and he LOVED it. Not bad reaction at all.
This may be good for your baby since they threw up. I feel this one is better than Earths best which has an ingrediant in it called Hexine that my cousin said is not good.
Unless it's a special formula for preemies or reflux or gas or something, they are all the same! The FDA MANDATES all formulas contain the exact same nutritive values and ingredients per type (soy or lactose or whatever) so poor kids aren't denied anything from having to drink cheaper store brands (although ironically, at least here in GA -the WIC recipients can go pick up the PRE-BOTTLED Enfamil that costs a freaking fortune!). Anyway -with my first I don't know how much I spend on Enfamil, but with my second I used Kroger Comforts brand and Target Up and Up brand -same with diapers. Read the nutrition and ingredient labels, and you'll see! Store brands are literally 50% cheaper than Similac or Enfamil! They don't have anything different in them either. I highly recommend giving store brands a try!
Goodstart formula is a more gentle formula. My daughter, now 4 yr old, was on Enfamil and was always constipated. My son, now 2 yr old, was breastfed at first and then put on Similac for a few weeks and it gave him really bad gas. The Similac always had a sour smell to it too. I then tried GoodStart on him had did not have a single problem. I'd slowing introduce the formula by giving half breastmilk and half formula in his bottle for a while.
