T.K.
I'm celebrating Valentines my with my honey tomorrow. He has to work tonight. Tonight I will take flowers to my teen daughter at work and take my kids to chick-fil-a
No one has asked it yet that I see so...
What are your Romantic, or not so romantic plans... plans for Valentine's Day? My husband is working, so I'll speand the day cleaning till the house sparkles and the dustbunnies come out of hibernation... and then try to sneak in a shower and put on a hot dress, some heels and get my girls in thier pretty pink V-day clothes. In the meantime I will try to send a video card to my family from the girls... Then tonight my husband and I are going to have a romantic candle light dinner at home (and he agreed to pick up some takeout on his way home) with a glass or two of boxed wine, and we'll finish the evening with some sort of romantic movie...
But first I will finish this cup of coffee LOL!

Let's see when I get off work will go home and probably cook dinner then go to Wal-Mart and get my boys a new movie and then let me youngest pick out a stuffed animal for himself. Have had too much going on to try to get him something and this way he will get the one he wants. (Small one he wants that is) then will go over to my oldest son's girlfriends house so the boys can give her her presents. My youngest even got her a stuffed animal. We will hang out there till I am tired probably (our familys ger along great!) then we will go home. Then tomorrow once they have marked the candies and stuff down my husband will go get me some chololates. And yes I am ok with that cause I am the one that told him to wait.
DH is working. SD has plans with her boyfriend. We decided to get Thai and dine in and give each other a little TLC once DD has gone to bed.
My wife has to work. Her boss is a woman and scheduled a meeting for 4:00 pm today. Yesterday, my wife reminded her boss that today was Valentines Day and all of the meeting attendees will be an hour or more away from home and will want to get home to celebrate with their wives, husbands, or girlfriends and boyfriends. The boss acted surprised, but moved up the meeting by two hours.
I made a special dinner for my wife the last three nights. Tonight it will be really special . . . candles and silver heartshaped candleholders. I'll make lamb steaks, asparagus, chef's salad and desert. Then if she is in the mood, we will watch a romantic movie or I'll light some fragrant candles, get some massage oil out and give her a full body message with warm+ oil. Then we will let happen what happens depending on her mood.
Good luck to you and yours.
I will clean the house, do dishes, laundry then have a fun day w/my 3yr old.
Just us till the rest of the family gets home.
I will decorate the house some.
Make steak, mashed potatoes & salad for dinner.
Will decorate the table in red, pink & white. Just for fun.
SD used to love it & son thinks it's cute.
Happy Valentine's Day everyone! :)
We sent my SD $20 and a card that both boys drew all over :)
My 7 y/o got a new DS game and a small box of chocolates.
My 3 y/o got a new Joker toy to go with his batcave and a small box of chocolates.
We made cards for my husband and got him his favorite Ferrero Rocher (SP???) chocolates and they gave me a huge box of chocolates and a dozen pink roses :):):)
We also had a sitter Friday night and we went out with friends and got a hotel room and partied like rock stars until 4 am ~ we're old, so we are still trying to recoop from that!
It's been a very nice V-day! Tonight after work I am making the boys pink heart pancakes for dinner and my husband will be at work.
Hubby and I already went to a concert that he won tickets for so we considered that our valentines "gift" to each other. We all got boxes of choc this morning from each other, kids got candy and animals and some trinkets. Tonight I'm going to try to make meatloaf for the first time and make it heart shaped, homemade mashed potatoes and gravy, steamed carrots and choc fondue for dessert. I'm surprising the kids with the fondue, never done it before, and maybe it will be our new vday tradition. =)
Half of my day is over now, and the kids are napping (hooray!). Earlier we got the boys' portraits made and had lunch at Chuck E Cheese. I straightened up the front of the house, put a very pretty red table cloth on the dining table, have the candles out and on the table, and handwashed the china, champagne flutes, ironed the napkins and rolled them into their rings. Yesterday the boys helped me dip strawberries in chocolate, and I made a cheesecake last night. I have the CD we'll be playing out, champagne in the fridge, and I've got the dinner PARTLY put together so we don't have to do too much tonight in the way of cooking, just pop it in the oven and steamer to finish cooking. We'll cook together a bit though, like we used to do "in the old days". I'm going to log off now, finish straightening up the house, shower and prep for date night. The boys will be going to their friends (our sitter) at 5pm, then I'll dress. Jeremy is coming home between 6-6:15. We're just going to cook dinner together, dance, have a great dinner, etc. Just a very nice, not so quiet evening at home. Really looking forward to it!
