Hi M.,

My daughter loves peas and carrots. So I get the frozen ones that are already the perfect size and easy to heat up.

Also, chicken breast, turkey, chicken tenders, mac and cheese, grilled cheese, cheese crumbles (another perfect size), wacky mac veggie noodles, apples, bananas, yogurt, some Gerber Graduates, graham crackers, dry cereal, oatmeal, ravioli, rice, corn and she likes brussels sprouts.

We just keep trying foods to see what she’ll eat.

I am waiting to give her tuna fish, any other fish/seafood and I limit the amounts of lunch meat and hot dogs.

Have you tried CoCo Wheats or Cream of Wheat? Both my kids love those cereals and sometimes will eat them when they don't like what I make for dinner. I usually try to serve these cereals with little pieces of banana, strawberries, or apples, just for the added nutrients and flavor. Babies R Us carries a baby food processor--you can put just about anything you're making for your meal in it and it makes it soft so that little ones can chew easily.

Hi M., trust me, 1 is easy now haha. I give my 1 year old almost everything. Bagels, pancakes, eggs, toast, grilled cheese, chicken nuggets, grilled chicken, noodles, hamburger, veggies, fruits. Just about anything. I've heard fish sticks and tuna but those are 2 I have not tried yet. With a few exceptions she can basically eat whatever you eat! Have fun!!!

My daughter is 14 months, and some of the "out of the ordinary" things she loves are hard boiled eggs, refried beans and roasted red peppers. She also eats a lot of applesauce mixed with rice cereal, grapes, sauteed chicken thighs, turkey breakfast links, and because she's allergic to wheat some wheat-free cereal bars and breads. I just give her whatever I'm eating, as long as she's not allergic to it, and just supplement it with stuff I know she'll eat. I try to make sure she has one carb option, one protein option, and one fruit or veg option with each meal. We're still nursing, so I don't really worry about dairy (plus she's allergic to that too!). I also try to make sure there's plenty of fat in the meal, since young children need lots of fat for brain development.

Lots of fruit and just about anything else you eat cut up really small. I used to make seashells or rotini noddles for my son when he was that age. He would eat them plain or with a tiny bit of spagetti sauce. Frozen veggies are good b/c you don't have to cut them up.
