I'm looking for food websites that give on the go snack ideas for little ones. Some one told me once about welicious - but I can't find it online. The site it supposed to give good recipes and suggestions for snacks and also snacks you can buy in Trader Joe's and Whole foods.

I really like allrecipies.com. You can find a lot of good healthy recipies there. I even found a way to make my own italian salad dressing that I use to marinate some meats and on salads that I like and is lower in salt than the stuff you buy in the store. One of the things to keep in mind is if the recipies call for salt, it is optional. Another thing to keep in mind is that if it calls for something like garlic salt, you can always substitute garlic powder and it will be just as good and healthier for you. I also tend to visit the food network and look through the various shows to see if they have any recipies I would like to try for something different. On that, my personal fave is Rachel Ray with her 30 minute meals. I don't know if they will have any snacks for on the go but you can always check as I believe both sites have a search the site option. Some ideas that my mom used to use with me and my brother when we were little is dried cereal (usually cheerios, kix or chex) in a sandwich bag. Another good one, Shaws carries their own unsalted mini pretzels! I take some to work with me every day as part of my lunch. Family Dollar stores often have fig and strawberry flavored newtons (again an off brand but they are good and a part of my lunch) and some of the Big Lots stores carry the apple flavored. Fresh fruit is always a good option-sectioned apples, grapes taken off the stem, peaches, mandarin oranges, etc. You can buy the canned but I would only get it if it is in juice rather than syrup. I would watch out with the store brands on this as I have had some bad luck with getting anything other than pineapple and mandarin oranges in juice and having it feel more like syrup (can says it's in juice and I go to drain the juice and it feels more like syrup than any kind of juice). If you go the canned or freshly cut up, you can go to walmart and pick up snack containers that you can re-use. Last time I got them, a package of 3 cost me about $2. You just want to watch out which ones you buy if you plan on doing any hot items as the ones with the white covers will melt in the microwave. Graham cracker sandwiches with a slice of american cheese or a little bit of peanut butter are another good idea. That's about all I can think of at the moment. Hope this was a help!

It's weelicious.com.

There's also www.ittybittybistro.com & http://www.wholesomebabyfood.com. The second is more for starting out on solids but they do have some "menus" that might inspire you.

Snacks that my boys (18 months & 3.5 years) like from Trader Joe's are the Buccaneer Booty (cheese puffs), cat cookies, crackers, fruit leathers & their cheese sticks.
