No fruit juices - they can be acidic and hard on the stomach. I would also avoid anything high in fiber like fruit (though bananas can be OK) or vegetables. A child will be fine with a day or two of mostly liquids and some light, low-fiber starches (see BRAT diet). If the child is vomiting frequenly the doctor may say to get Pedialyte or the generic version of it and let your little one drink that. Plain Saltine crackers and plain (no butter) toast are usually fine but start in very small amounts. Dry Cheerios work for my child too. But dont' push solids if your girl doesn't really want them. A handful of Cheerios, or a half cup of cooked rice, a little applesauce, a frozen Pedialyte ice pop, really will be OK. Hydration matters more than solids.
Some folks may say, give ginger ale, but the carbonation makes my kid (and me) feel worse, and it's full of sugar, and is not needed if you are giving Pedialyte. You may not really need Pedialyte (pediatric electrolyte solution) if the child is not vomiting very frequently. But ask the professionals! Get a list from your doctor of the signs of dehydration, which include vomiting and/or diarrhea X times in Y hours (I can't remember the formula but there is one) as well as listlessness and inabiltity to produce urine.
