My son is almost 10 months old and I feel like he is a picky eater! Can anyone recommend some good finger food options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I am not a good cook either! Thanks so much.

Here are some things I feed my twins;
frozen Peas with carrots (cooked)
frozen waffles and pancakes with fruit puree on top instead of butter (they LOVE this!)
cheese
chicken nuggets (Costco has a really good all natural ones)
lunch meat
canned fruit (bite size)
cheerios
yogurt
bananas
noodles
ravoli
chicken (that I make)
stuffing
basically anything that is soft and that you can cut into small pieces. I also still gave them baby food at that age too, usually one jar and the rest baby food.

I started to introduce bananas, american cheese, with the gerber 3rd foods, but after a couple weeks she started not to eat the baby food anymore. I gave her different veggies, fruit (gerber has some fruit and veggies or just buy the cans) as well as lunch meat. Now I buy frozen made by Tyson grilled chicken breast or chicken nuggets (daughter 15 months). Try veggies, fruit, and different lunch meat. My daughter also loves hotdogs. At first I took off the skin but now she can eat the skin. Hope this helps.

Hello, When my son was that age he used to love scrambled eggs, pancakes etc. We also feed him hotdogs with the skin take off, we would but them into slices and then into quaters so they where small enough to eat and he wouldnt choke on them. He also like chicken. Also no skin and small enough for him to eat. Mashed Pot are good as well. My son loved whole green beans right out of the can. We didnt heat them or anything. I just drained them and put some on his try same for canned fuit(because it was soft unlike fresh fruit besides bannas). Try yogurt etc as well..Good Luck

My daughter is 10 months old, and she has recently started eating things like noodles. She loves cheese ravioli! She also eats a lot of different fruits and veggies: peas, green beans, bananas, peaches, fruit cocktail minus the grapes. If she seems interested in a food that we are eating, I give her a little and see how she does. This is my second child, and she is trying foods earlier than I did with my first, but doing great. We still use baby food fruits and veggies to make the meals complete.

We use www.wholesomebabyfood.com and love it, my daughter is also 9 1/2 months. Finger foods she likes are homemade pancakes (very easy to make), bananas, whole grain toast, very ripe small pieces of pear, peas, avocado, puffs, little pieces of pasta, steamed small pieces of carrots or green beans, small pieces of sweet potato or squash fully cooked. Have not tried Cheerios yet but we will soon, she has 8 teeth! Just make sure to keep an eye on your son when he is eating these foods and make sure the pieces are small enough to mash with his gums and teeth and that they cannot get lodged in his throat. Enjoy, hope this helps!

My girls used to like either pancakes or waffles in small bites. I made the pancakes ahead of time and just heated them a little and put in small bites.(Use the just add water mix) The waffles take seconds to make. Boiled potatoes went over well. Noodles (so many shapes to choose from). Sometimes I would buy frozen veggies (like carrots) cook them and cut up for them to eat. Hope that helps!
