I recently switched my cats flea medicine from Frontline to revolution. And BOTH cats skins is so
Dry now that chunks of fur have been coming off. Is this normal for revolution flea medicine? I have a vet appointment on Thursday for them. Is there any advice on ways to relieve their skin discomfort til then? TIA

What can I do next?

You can try bathing them in a moisturizing oatmeal-based shampoo if you feel up to it. I have not heard of this happening with Revolution, so it could be that, or something else entirely. I would decide to stick with Frontline, or if you are wanting something that will protect against fleas and heartworm for cats, there is Advantage Multi. AdvanTIX is strictly a dog product and should not be used on cats!

My cats did not have a good reaction to Revolution, either. I went back to Frontline, which had always worked well for us in the past.

I have never used Revolution, but a good friend has had the same reaction in her cats. It's pretty potent. I always used Frontline. Maybe try advantax. I would not put anything else on until it heals. Maybe try to aloe Vera lotion????
