First World Problem

I can't find the cord for my laptop, and my docking station is at work. So when it runs out of power this weekend, I won't be able to play on it online.

I know what you're thinking - maybe she'll leave us alone for a day! No worry, I'll still have my smartphone, just not my laptop.

My first world problem - having my 16 year old (who doesn't have his license - only a permit) to drive my car 1.5 miles to pick up our other car that's in the shop!! LOL!!

I'm having to sleep downstairs on our sofa bed because our dog got neutered and we were told no stairs for TWO WEEKS! He refuses to go in his crate with the cone of shame on his head and won't sleep on his own. Ugh. Trying to keep a one-year-old dog calm all day is like telling a toddler to be calm. The sedatives they gave only make a dent in the energy. And I'm completely fed up with being jabbed in the legs with that cone. Not to mention, he's miserable in the thing. Only on day three ... sigh.

I had to leave the pool earlier than I would have liked because I forgot to pack my blueberries and I was starving.😊

Need to send a picture of my family to my sister for a anniversary present for our parents. CAN'T find the camera.

My 7 year old is husky but healthy. Size 8 pants barely fit his waste and are too long. He was swimming in the first brand we found that actually carried a "husky." After 3 hours at the mall we finally found an 8 husky that's a couple of inches too long. I'll take it!

We're going on vacation and I can't decide if I should pack a cover up for my swimsuit or not.

Last day for registration for the Sept ACT test is tomorrow and my kids have to make their profiles so they can register. There will be fighting over the computer tonight.

But the good news is I got the waivers today that I have been trying to get for the past month (when no one is in the office).

I wore sandals to work today and now it's raining. I HATE for my feet to be wet. So now I have to eat in the cafeteria because I don't want to go through the rain to get in my car.

I have too much food in my house. Fridge, freezer an pantry are full. Yet I forgot to take something out to thaw, so we are stuck eating frozen pizza.

I am also having trouble coordinating dates for next summer's vacation, between my kids camp schedules and my husbands holiday schedule.

I spent a good part of the day with my daughter. We both had plans for this evening and decided to chat over Starbucks refreshers.

While at Starbucks, we each got a text and our plans were cancelled. Although bummed, we took the opportunity to go shop and get retail therapy!!

Mine? Finally get a day to have a leisurely lunch with a long time friend tomorrow, and neither of us can decide WHERE! We want a nice atmosphere where we can sit and talk for a long time without feeling like we are taking up table space, enjoy a couple of glasses of wine, have good food and service, and were hoping to try something new. Looks like we will end up at our annual location though, because we just. can't. decide. We don't get together often, and don't want to "waste" an occasion like this on a mistake of a restaurant.

I can't decide whether to go on vacation or not.

Darling Son is turning 15 a week from tomorrow and I can't come up with even an iota of an idea of how to celebrate. The last time I lived with a teenaged boy it was my older brother and by then we were pretty much ignoring each other.........TEENAGERS. LOL
