My son is 15 months and we have to pack lunch and snacks as well. He really like Cheese Sticks, Applesause, jello, yogurt, sliced lunch meat cut into squares, left-over chicken breast or shredded pieces of rotisserie chicken, gerber fruit snacks and cereal bars, yogurt, mini-pancakes, grapes, apple chunks, lunchables, chef boyardee raviloi, forkables, mac & cheese, raisins, plain cereal, chicken nuggets and dip...hope this gives you some ideas. I asked some of the other moms to find out what sort of things they bring. They were happy to offer their tips and tricks. Good luck.

Hi J.,
I guess I'm lucky because I have the kind of kid that wants to know why they don't have shrimp at Wendy's! :)
But O. thing I do know is that kids will usually try what they think other kids like.
How about ham or turkey slices, rolled up and cut into little logs, or cheese chunks and crackers, applesauce, mandarin oranges, drinkable yogurt, the yogurt that has the granola to mix in, cut up chicken chunks w/BBQ sauce to dunk them in? Goldfish crackers, cheese puffs, cooked veggies in pieces with some ranch dressing for dipping? I know at 2, my son was ALL ABOUT the dipping!
Good luck!

You are actually pretty well off if he eats that much! Would he like dollar sized pancakes? Yougurt? Yougurt smoothies? Apple slices with caramel dip? Cheese chunks? Cinnamon bread with butter or sprinked cin sugar? My lil girl used to eat deviled eggs! My daughters LOVE vegetarian products, especially the sausage. They eat just about every type.

Do you know what they fed him for lunch at the previous daycare? That might give you some ideas.

With every lunch I would include something you think he won't eat. Perhaps he will eat those foods for the staff or maybe seeing other kids eating "new" foods will get him interested in trying them.

My daughter is 4 and is still the pickest eater, unfortunately she only eats certain things too she doesn't like pb&j either, hot dogs and nuggets are her fav. I just give her what she will eat because at least i know she is not going hungry. So my advice is to give him what he likes even though it might be the same three or four foods all the time.
